“First time I have ordered, and made 2 separate purchases of mainly bare root perennials. First lot recently received, well packaged and healthy. Have now planted in pots to grow on, and some in final large tubs. Most have already sprouted, but the proof will be later in Summer. Good value to buy bare roots, particularly for a new garden that needs establishing.”

“The bulbs were very well packed. My order was missing an item, but this was quickly refunded as sadly the item had sold out. The bulbs all seem to be growing nicely in pots ready to be planted out soon.”

“Unfortunately 2 of the plants in the last delivery have not survived. They looked pretty dead when they arrive. Otherwise happy with all I have bought and this year had a wonderful display of spring bulbs.”

“Bien mais quelques soucis, des bulbes qui ne répondent pas toujours à une bonne qualité et pour moi une livraison qui tarde et comme je vis dans un climat doux, tout devrait déjà être planté, Il faut dans ce cas se fixer une date limite pour commander”

“I had forgotten how unplantlike bare root transplants can appear but hopefully my purchases will sprout forth soon. Everything looked alive apart from some geraniums which were replaced immediately after I raised the issue. Since potting up the bare roots many are showing early growth and I look forward to having plants like the ones shown in the catalogue.”

Hello, Bare root plants and some bulbs will have sprouted shoots already at this time of year, even if they're not planted yet. They will continue to grow normally after planting. All the best, Farmer Gracy Customer Care

“All the bulbs arrived well packed and a nice info pack with them. I ordered them earlier in the year and they were sent out as promised in April. However I made the same mistake last year in ordering them too early, as a week after receiving the £71 worth of bulbs/plants most of them are advertised on Facebook with 20 percent off!! Very annoying!!! Yes it is a bit of a risk waiting but I would recommend not to pre order any bulbs/plants because it's cost me £15 extra compared to just waiting for the sale. Must remember for next year.”

“Disappointed to leave only 4 stars this time but the iris rhizome is very poor and shows signs of rot. Not what I expected from you as in the past all plants/bulbs have been first class”
