Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Medical questions too general and addressed only that I have a pacemaker and not it's benefits. I had to say I had made an unplanned hospital visit to hospital but no provision for me to explain that the pacemaker resulted from this and has made a remarkable difference. consequently the premium was based on a non existent risk and that is unacceptable. I 'phoned about this but was confronted by the party line that the questions are set by doctors. The questions should be more specific or at least allow for explanation.”

“Do not touch this company with a bargepole, I paid out $200 to see the ships doctor for a rash, Which turned out to be eczema.. I made 4 phone calls numerous emails all ignored.. I finely received a cheque last week for the measly sum of £1.21.. AVOID this company at all costs. They do not like paying out & will ignore your calls & emails.. There Charlatans..”
