Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“OFFERED GOOD ADVICE ON THE PHONE THAT THE BEST WAY TO INSURE WAS ON LINE. FAIRLY EASY PROCESS AND A COMPETITIVE RATE. HOPE THAT BODES WELL SHOULD WE HAVE TO MAKE A CLAIM.”

“Very clear and easy to work out which insurance suited best. The prices are pretty reasonable too. Only gave it a 4 as I know claiming isnt always so straightforward and havent experienced that yet so cant comment”

“Very simple to navigate application process. Screening for existing medical conditions very straightforward compared to other companies I have tried. Questions asked were sensible and no separate telephone questionnaire required. Conditions highlighted were covered at reasonable cost and clearly shown on the policy document.”

“Were pleasantly surprised how good your rates were as both my husband and I have medical issues. Unfortunately we lost our passports in Malaga airport on Saturday so I have had to make a claim in respect of this, but the staff were very helpful when I telephoned them today.”
