Never made a claim and hope I never have to. Explorer insurance is a value for money premium. However I will review this again if I make a claim.

Cheaper than other products but I’ve never needed to make a claim so can’t comment on how easily this is or how helpful they are.

Explorer travel insurance company is a joke and their policies not fit for purpose. Worst company I have ever had to deal with regarding a claim. They lie just not to pay out. Avoid like the plague!!

As I purchased my policy on line I did not speak to any employee of Explorer. Downloading of the relevant paperwork was easy enough

Unclear why I have to pay for a medical condition that I do not wish to insure for.

Purchased, easily, price competitive. Cover with medical conditions and others. (with reference to usual travel cover) was good.Fortunately didn’t have to claim.

Icannot understand why I have been charged against a Mastectomy operation I had 2 years ago. I required no further treatment and just take a Taxoxifen tablet every day. Please can you supply an answer. Thanks Barbara Murphy

Dear Sir/Madam, the travel insurance may be very effective itself but because doesn't cover the private hospitals, we couldn't use it. My husband hurt himself on the head on a window's frame, and apparently lost lots of blood. We intentionally avoided to go to public hospital and went straight to a private one. He was still conscious and it wasn't a head trauma, so it wasn't a very urgent situation. He just needed to be disinfected weĺl and eventually receive other checks/advises. We went privately because even local people definitely discourage to look for medical care in a public hospitals (we were on a holiday in Kenya). Considering this experience I wouln't buy a travel insurance again to go to developing Countries if it doesn't cover private hospitals. Many thanks. Laura

After organising and paying my travel insurance I got an email a day later to apply for travel insurance and get 10% discount. Not good and I felt cheated.

better service may include a booklet of terms and conditions as opposed to sending email and print it yourself.
