Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Both myself and my husband use explorer now for few years, we both have medical conditions, my hubby is a golfer so many trips + plus family holidays and we have always had good if not great prices. We are lucky in all years we have been with yourselves we have never had to claim so cannot comment on that part of insurance, but price wise first class,”

“I am rating this company on the basis of ease of use of their website, the pleasantness of their staff when called to amend a policy and what appears to be very good value insurance. However, any insurance company is only as good as its performance in the event of needing to make a claim. Happily I have not had to do so on either of the policies I have taken out in the last couple of years. I have no reason to believe that their good service so far would not be replicated, but this is untested.”
