Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Sent us to 4 different hospitals with a sick child who was deteriorating, spent 6 hours driving and in waiting rooms. Turned away by all of them and the company still were unable to offer medical care. Ended up paying privately oursevles with the assurance it would be refunded, then the claim was denied. 6 months later and despite complaints the costs have never been covered. Avoid at all costs!”

“We have been taking this insurance for many years. Fortunately we have never had to make a claim so I can’t comment on that. This year I did find it quite a jump in price and that’s the only negative I have.”
