Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“I've never had to claim so can't rate them on that basis but the fact that they have cycle touring & camping in one of the activity packs you can choose -which a lot of providers don't - for a fair price makes them a good choice for me.”

“We are in our 80's with some existing medical issues but Explorer were easy to deal with and we had no difficulty getting through to talk to an actual person. Fortunately we have not had to make a claim and hope that we will not need to but, if we had to I am sure we would be dealt with objectively and fairly.”

“Although I have not had to call upon the services of Explorer Travel (fingers crrossed!), whenever I have had to contact them about soaking out a policy, whoever I have spoken with has been polite, courteous and efficient.
