I have only given 3 stars as there was a delay on my finance document check, I was told this was due to the finance company. I called evolution at 16.30 and was told it normally takes 6 hours and we was coming in to the sixth hour. I then called the next day about 10.30 and was told by Nick that the finance company had not come back to them and he would chase. I left until 13.30 and called again to see what the hold up was and spoke to Leanne. This is where the stars go as I found her to be quite rude in her attitude she told me it normally takes 24 hours and that as soon as they hear anything then they will contact me. I informed her I had another company that was contacting me who said they would be £300 cheaper over the term of the finance, not a great deal and as evolution was dealing with it already I would rather sort with them. She basically said if you want to go with another company then do so but we will ring you when we hear something.

Initial phone call was 1st class. Unfortunately the communication between Evolution and Eden Vauxhall was a Disaster . Money barn just kept debuting the 5 x £1.00 card verification charge due to some person incorrectly entering a wrong door number . I was promised I would receive a refund, but it has still not been credited to my card . Then the finance figures were out by 12p, so I had to take an afternoon off work and travel to the dealership to Sign again! I was promised compensation for this journey, but I still have not received. If this can be resolved I would be a happy customer !

Unfortunately, it does appear that there were system issues during the bank verification, which resulted in the multiple £1 amounts being debited from your account. We have chased up the lender to action your refund. We also apologise for the inconvenience caused during signing, which was due to documents not being properly checked. This has been noted and fed back to our team. We do record all calls for training and quality purposes and we cannot identify when compensation was offered. Very quick and easy but only had my car 6 weeks and it needs a new alternator and battery, when you pay over 5grand for a car you don't expect it to break down, warranty covers alternator but not battery, I rang the dealer who I got the car from and he wasn't interested, now £300 out of pocket

Took longer than expected to get the finance sorted due to mistakes being made which was what not down to us but we got there in the end and once they sorted the issues out which took a few days

12 phone calls later and 2days and I am sorted, seemed tedious at times and believe I could have been asked for all my information within half the amount of calls

You did well to blocker for me a loan but you got it on a high PR rate and that why I have given 3 0ut of 5. You had quoted me around 13% and I ended up getting the loan at 30%. Had I got the loan at the rate you quoted me first, you could have 5 out of 5.

Aswell as having to ring for updates being told we had been accepted then wanting more info when we thought that was it. Also when people are on day offs others should continue sorting it. I won't be recommending you.

In my opinion the service could have been better. there seemed to be no urgency about how long it took to exchange emails and payment with car dealer. both blaming each other for the delay. I seemed to be making calls daily to both parties to chase up.

Hi Colin. I sincerely apologise for your dissatisfaction and hope you will understand the following. Many of the funders we deal with in this sector of the market are currently being extremely stringent in their checks for affordability at this current time. Many consumers are still on furlough and potentially many people may still get made redundant in the coming weeks and months. To that end the funder that had approved your application are wanting to verify all customers income and expenditure prior to allowing a finance agreement to be signed. This demand for bank statements to be verified has created a significant backlog, (at its peak 3 weeks) for the funder to approve and allow the customer to proceed to signing a finance agreement. I apologise on behalf of the funder, and no doubt hope the element of work we ourselves conducted was up to scratch and professional. Kindest regards Evolution Extra

The person Daniel Cliffe who handled the process - told a little white lie to me explaining the first payment for the car would be taken 30 days after signing the contract. Then after signing and finance being accepted from Oodle , got a text message explaining my first payment would be taken on the 30th November. And I signed on the 14/15th November so not very happy about this. Or I wouldn’t of signed until the month after.

Hi Natasha, i hope you are well and enjoying your new car. Your feedback was forwarded to myself for review and i am now in a position to come back to you. It appears after investigation semantics may play a part in your dissatisfaction. Having listed to the call recordings relating to our part in your process of purchasing a new car. What has actually been discussed on the call with yourself is, that we have provided all the correct information and no untruths have been said. We also state that both ourselves and you will check with the lender on when your first payment date will be as the date you enquired about/requested is out of the lenders policy. When you have then gone on to complete the E-Sign, you have selected and agreed to the current payment date after following the steps on their website. (Evolution have no part or sight in the customer actually completing the E-Sign online) We have subsequently enquired with Oodle and asked if the payment date can be changed, but they are unwilling to do so as you have selected a date and signed the direct debit mandate for this month on the Lenders E-Sign and we (Evolution) are also unable request changes to a live agreement. We have checked with the lender, and their E-Sign process clearly states that the customer is given a full explanation as to when the 1st payment will be, and that you the customer have agreed to those terms. In order to try and offer some assistance, can i maybe suggest that you contact Oodle finance direct, explain the situation fully and try to ascertain if they will amend to a date that meets your approval. Please let us know if you are successful, as this will be useful to know for future customers. I know and understand this may not be the response you wanted to hear, but if we can assist or help in any way we will, Kindest regards Paul Hibbert
