I am afraid to say that this was not a pleasant experience. I had to chase Evolution constantly, I have found out that for some reason I had two financial contract opened, I know that Autolend paid Evolution on the 06/02/2024 and Evolution kept saying they did not got paid. At one point I had the phone put down in me, because of the frustration I was cause. I had to go back and forward with Evolution and Autolend doing their jobs for them. I found this unacceptable. After two days of relentless chasing I have received managed to find that Evolution for some reason had two financial contract opened, no idea why. It's finally resolved but I have to say I am very disappointed with the way I have been dealt with. This will be the first and last time I use Evolution.

I Mark, wanted to buy a car. The garage put our details through Evolution Funding, which was the end of that part of their involvement until finance approved. At no point during the process did Evolution explain they were an intermediary company. They were asked to call my partner but kept calling myself whilst at work, when I'm not allowed calls. They then refused to speak to my partner even though i told them to and had to re-call them giving authority again. They got our email address wrong and so kept sending finance documents to incorrect email, who knows what data breach could happen from that and with no official apology. We emailed proofs twice as they reckoned they didn't get them. Not once did they keep us updated with the finance as my partner made at least ½dozen calls trying to find out updates. Eventually the actual finance company came up trumps, with updates and documentation. But it all took 6 days from start to finish and was the most stressful financial transaction we've ever done. This has never been like this with previous car purchases. I therefore cannot bring myself to recommend this company at this time to help with buying a car. I give 2 stars for answering telephone and finally one staff member getting finance company to email us to finally sort things. Eventually sorted but such a fiasco.

I was approved, which with a (very old) CCJ I was thankful for. However, it cost me an additional £70 for the benefit. I understand that this is a fee because those with poor credit are seen as "risky". But would not the risk be considerably lower if the costs were reasonable? Basically I'd say if your credit is good, go for it. The process was easy enough, and well explained, adding documentation was a bit glitchy and took a few tries but that's no big deal. However if your credit is poor, only go for it if you're desperate and out of other options like me.

Very poor lack of communication, forgetting to send proper information and asking for it which led to purchase being held up. Signed same 3 forms in 3 days. Would not reccomend

I am sorry but I need to be honest in this review. The experience was really poor I had 1 phone call then no contact 8 days a second call asking about a deposit which I agreed with a promise of a call and paperwork in the next 10 mins. I never heard of anyone again I had to get the garage to chase this which they had to numerous times and they also said this was really poor. I wish I could right a better review but it was very very poor.

Was never contacted when told I’d be contacted. Was always told will call you when we hear something and wasn’t till I called them that they realised they had updates! Was always told the guy I wanted to speak to was busy very slow and never wanted to speak !

I bought a car from this place at the moment I am very pleased very helpful people,But on the other hand the percentage fees are too high and I have to give back even more than the car is worth

Given 2 star review due to the amount of time to get this deal across the line Throughout the whole deal I managed to speak to Richard twice ! Everhtime I called for update i was told he was always on a call and would call me back which never ever happened Very disappointed with the service in the end up we did get this deal across the line with alot of stress Wouldn't use again iam.afraid

Nightmare from start to finish. Why not ask everyone for a contract of employment, payslips, bank statement etc straight away then wouldn't have wasted 7 days messing around

I was extremely disappointed with the releasing of the funds, which meant a delay in picking up my car. Buying a car was meant to be a fun, relaxed experience. This meant we waited at the car garage for funds to be released for over 3 hours, having to return the next day after swapping over insurance from my previous car this even meant that I couldn’t return home in my part exchanged car. Other than that, my broker did what he could to assist me at times and other than the above was a great help.
