“I was pleased to actually get a hen house because there seems to be a national shortage just now. This is my first one so I can't compare but it seems sturdy enough, is finished well and went together quickly despite the brief instructions. It also seems roomier than similarly priced houses, I have three hens and they have plenty of space. I don't know if the suppliers have any influence or indeed even read these reviews but two modifications would improve this house. 1) turn the roost box opening handle through 90 degrees as viewed along it's length so it lies flat against the structure when the door is open. 2) Put the run door at the end of the run rather than the roost end which would make servicing the food and water containers simpler. At the moment keeping the containers near the door impedes access past the roost ramp to the shady area under the roost box. All in all I'm pleased with my purchase and the chickens seem right at home.”

“Bought the stables coop online as it was such a great price vs size and quality, it was delivered to my door the next day. Unpacked it and I was really impressed with the quality and build A**. Easy to put together and looks great in the garden. This is my first coop and my wife loves it.”

“Purchasing a chicken coop from Eggshell was eggshellent! The product arived in perfect condition on time iand in managable boxes. Putting to coop together was a pleasure, after buying a shed from a british company last year and having a real job to put together we were dubious. The quality of the wood is great, the joins all fitted together easily, the instructions easy to read and really took no time at all. The coop in indeed very sturdy, and so far fox proof, our 3 girls are setteling in well. There has been a lot of thought and attention put in to the design, making it easy to clean, easy to keep an eye on them etc. Overall the Campbell family are all very impressed with Eggshell, we would definately recomend purchasing from you and if the need arises, as the flock grows, we will definately purchase from you again. Thank You.”

“Just assembled the house and run, pretty easy although better labelling of parts would have helped ie. which way up/ inside/ outside. Good value for money so far; we'll see what the hens think!”

“So far the emails have been prompt and polite, althought the Coop has not arrived yet so I can't comment on that. I would however like to say that the delivery is an 'all day affair' which is fairly inconvenient, and would like to feedback that having morning or afternoon slots (as most deliveries seem to manage these days) would be very beneficial.”

“Hen house arrived today and was assembled within a couple of hours. Very clearly marked bolts and screws (a spare of each one provided) and quite clear instructions. Chickens have not arrived yet, but their future home looks sturdy and up to the job. Pleased with our purchase.”

“I am very pleased with my new henhouse. It arrived the next day as promised and the quality, design and overall finish are excellent. It is much sturdier and more substantial than others I have purchased in the past for a similar cost from other companies. I purchased The Granary model and I especially like the raised nesting boxes and the completely opening side door which are things you don't necessarily appreciate until you have experience of hen keeping, but they do make life much easier. I would highly recommend this company.”

“I just bought the stables XXL and am totally delighted with the ease of build and quality of the house and run. It reminds me of a swiss chalet and is a very attractive addition to my allotment where my chickens free range. I shall certainly buy from Eggshell again.”
