“We experienced an efficient and thorough service from ECU Testing saving many hundreds of pounds on replacement of the faulty ECU unit by a new system. The unit was the ABS Hydraulic Pump on an Audi TT which was recording intermittent electrical faults. ECUtesting had the unit collected from Northern Ireland the next day after contact and assessed the following day. The problem was located and fixed within 3 days and again returned by TNT overnight. At every stage we were kept informed by both email and text leaving nothing to chance. We would be delighted to use ECUtesting in the future. Hull thompson Autotech”

“I had a faulty ABS/ESP pump and module on my Ford Focus. Faulty unit was collected, inspected, repaired and returned all within 5 days. Repaired unit has a lifetime warranty too. I was kept informed at every step. Overall great service and super price”

I have personally tried to contact you in order to help with your situation, but you hung up on me. The purchase you made was over two years ago and would normally be covered under our lifetime warranty. However, as you have stated on several occasions when you first received the part, you found issues so you took the unit apart yourself rather than return it to us for checking which voided your warranty. This is clear in our warranty documentation. You rightly state that you were given a refund but your negative feedback remained the same. “I have a modern classic 1994 VW Corrado VR6. The faults were as follows. Nasty misfire, sporadic none start of the engine, cutting out whilst driving and generally performing dog rough. Having replaced various other items, in a bid to try and rectify at least some of the faults, the costs were beginning mount up. I suspected the ECU could be faulty. The very few replacement compatible ECU's available, were priced between £350-£400! These units were all used items and removed from high mileage vehicles, which may have limited use remaining themselves. The other issue with this option is my vehicle is extensively modified and is running bespoke tuning software setup on a rolling road. The final thing that happened was, during a none start episode, I tried to scan the engine fault codes but could not connect to the ECU, then a relay clicked and connection was established. This confirmed to me the ECU was faulty. After a brief search of the various online ECU repair services, I found ECUtesting, it was their fantastic feedback that stood out to me. Their comprehensive and informative common fault section across the various manufacturers, highlighted faults that were similar to what I was experiencing so I got in touch. I arranged collection of my ECU at 10:30pm and my unit was collected the following day at 2:30pm! They received my unit the following day and began testing. It took a little longer than first thought due to the obscurity of the ECU and the software on it, but only by a few days. At this point I was concerned, in case they were not able repair it as I did not have a plan B. Thankfully I was relieved to hear that they had indeed found the ECU to be faulty, in line with the symptoms I had included in the description. If I wished to proceed they would be able to rebuild the unit. It was just after 2pm, customer services told me if I was able to complete £250 payment before 3pm they should be able to get it repaired the same day. Sure enough, the unit was back in the post and on my doorstep the following day. Fantastic! After installing it back into the car, its now running sweet as a nut once again! I really cant thank ECUtesting enough. Not only is my hobby car back on the road. because the parts used to rebuild the ECU's exceed OEM spec, I now consider it to be future proof. Just in case there is a problem, it also comes with an unlimited mileage warranty, which is great to know. What more could you ask for from a company in terms of, customer service, communication, speed of service, quality and knowledge of product and price. Simply awesome! So pleased with this. Thankyou.”
