Supposedly a 3 day turn around, waiting 10 days with no update. Had to ring up to get onformation just to be told there were no faults in the ecu. which I had already clearly stated in the fault description following my diagnostic.

after an efficient first job, the second job was not collected, on two subsequent occasions then abandoned by us.

Had a VW mechatronic repaired by ECU testing. The vehicle came back with the same issue. They offer a lifetime warranty which is a lie, as they returned the unit with a refund which has left my company with a very unhappy customer. So how does a lifetime warrantee work!!!

I used this company due to price and assurance of a 2/3 business day turnaround. On the eighth business day I eventually got the abs pump back. My customer was not happy, nor was I as the job actually cost my business money due their delays and lack of information which resulted in me having to provide a loan car which to add insult to injury, came back damaged! After complaining, I got an apology and free postage back (£16), this was not acceptable but they were adamant they would not discount anything else. I can’t fault the actual repair but as a business, I need to subcontract to reliable people and my experience with company was not a positive one. I probably wouldn’t use again or recommend!

Service has declined I'm afraid. Time is money, and when we are being left in the lurch with no information, and being told the parts still haven't come in, but you cant even give me an estimate, it doesn't really cut the mustard.

The turn around times are never what they state. They are not very friendly or helpful on the phone.

unit took almost 1 week to return, not a 1 to 2 day turnover. I was contacted by phone and informed that my tcu, unknown to me, had been repaired by ecu testing before and there for has a life time warranty, my unit was eventually returned repaired. when I contacted ecu testing regarding my warranty/refund I was fobbed off with a cop out clause and not given a refund. Surely the warranty stays with the repaired item, the warranty and life time repair, was in my case as it failed again after repair, was useless !!!!!

Hi Gary, The lifetime warranty is only with the original purchaser and is not transferable as standard normally unless the necessary documentation is provided by the original person who had paid. Had an abs pump fixed recently I have to say very impressed with the service I was kept informed all through the process being a private customer this was reassuring price was more than acceptable would recommend highly

I must say that your response time(s) didn't match up to your advertised time. I would have liked a breakdown of the faulty part(s) and the cost of plus the labour content and cost. This would follow the invoice norm in the motor industry. Being open and transparent is the way to inspire confidence.

Hi Roger I am sorry if you experienced a slight delay on your unit, sometimes this can happen if we have an influx in work coming in however we do try and ensure that our customers are updated at the earliest opportunity. Hi David I have managed to search for your job in our database and at the time you sent your unit in we were quoting a 2-3 working day turnaround time. We carried out a full test and repair on the 3rd working day of having your unit here and therefore completed your unit in the specified timescale quoted. I can see that you purchased the rebuild directly through our website prior to sending your unit into us for a repair. We tested the unit based on your reported fault and this was conducive for the fault that we found and therefore a repair was successfully carried out. Kind Regards Karen

Hi There I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with our services, I can see your unit was booked in late afternoon on May 18th and was dispatched back to you on May 24th which was the 4th working day turnaround time, We aim to get units back to our customers as fast as possible and do often keep within our quoted turnaround time. after sending abs unit for refurbishment three times only to be told cant repair unit but did give refund . on sending second abs unit for another vehicle to be told no fault found but will refurbish with no guarantee at a cost £245 . on refitting & starting vehicle to find abs unit still faulty so second hand unit found /fitted to sort vehicle at half the cost i was to refurbish old unit

Second unit in a fortnight I`ve sent to them for simple repair to be told the unit is beyond repair. First one I then sent to Actronics who repaired it straight away. Guess where 2nd one`s going...............

We were quoted a turn around of 3-5 working days ECU Testing had the unit for 8 working days before ringing to say it was faulty, they had it a total of 10 working days. Our customer was very unhappy as he was without his car for over two weeks.

I had to chase to find out what was going on only to find out it's not repairable & no replacement available. It's hard to get through on the phone but you keep getting messages asking you to call. I would prefer to be called to be told what's going on. Didn't work out for me but you have many happy customers which was why I tried you in the first place.

Quality of the repair was good but the turn around Time was disappointing,When making a appointment to carry out a repair on a abs pump I was told the turnaround time was 3 working days after they received the item. They received the item on a Wednesday and it didn't go into the workshop for another 8 days, in total customer was without a car for 2 weeks.i made several calls to ecu testing who said they were busy and apologised for the delay, they knew they were busy when I made the appointment but still quoted 3 working days turnaround , if they had been upfront with me then I wouldn't of had a very grumpy customer.

Not pleased with the turnaround time. Called in advance to find out what realistic turnaround time was. Was told it was 4 business days. It's been 7 business days and work on my unit has still not be finished.

I sent ecu testing my bmw 5 series throttle control module giving them the fault codes and description..they kept me informed of arrival of my part and progress.i then recieved a phone call a week later saying the unit would be returned to me as no fault found so I still had to pay postage each way and the test fee.i put the unit back on car and same faults were present.i have now purchased one from bmw and all is ok faults have gone.why couldn't ecu have told me before I sent them the unit that they would not be able to fix it
