“Saved 63 days on test date. Only drawback with system is only 15 minutes to accept. Luckily on line whwn offer came through and managed to contact driving instructor re his availability. Possibly improve system by allowinf driver instructor code to be inserted in search data. But very pleased”

The driving instructor number can only be applied when you first book your driving test, which is why we do not ask for this, as we do not book your initial test. If the driving instructor number is present, you will not be offered test dates that clash with your instructor's timetable. “Unfortunately I mixed up US and UK date formats and with the time pressure to accept a cancellation I ended up accepting a cancellation for tomorrow morning by mistake .. and my instructor isn't available, and I don't have access to another manual car to be able to take the test. I'm thus out £67 and have to try to find another booking anywhere, so I can go in the queue again for finding a cancellation at my local test centre :(. Not the fault of the service, the whole situation around booking tests is crazy, but I am peeved that it just caused me to lose my booking fee. And now there is a slot someone else can't take because you can't cancel with less than 3 days notice unless you are sick or something.”
