Sadly, similar to the last buyer. Drink Finder mislead me. They were advertising a 2012 version of a wine I like. I paid extra for postage and they sent me a 2019 version of the wine. Sam representing drinking finder has blamed Amazon for their advert and they have made it difficult to return the wine and for me to obtain a refund. A horrible experience. I buy a lot of wine online, dealing with Drink Finder has been a very poor experience.

Hi Julian Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we are sorry, once again for the inconvenience caused with your Amazon order. As Sam explained, Amazon own the listings on there and our system simply connects via barcode, with some wines where the barcode remains the same vintage after vintage it can be difficult to deal with. Despite 1,000's of requests with Amazon to update images, vintages and so on nothing gets changed. You will not find the 2012 vintage of the wine you were looking for anywhere. We do advise when buying wine, if vintage is important in the sale to contact the seller direct if buying third party. Vintages are kept up to date on our own site. Extremely poor service. I paid extra for delivery on the following day. It was for my birthday party. The website gave me the option for that particular delivery. I even received an email immediately that my order was being processed. No show. I emailed for an update on Saturday afternoon, still hoping it would arrive. There was no response even. Very disappointed especially that it was for my birthday. I don't think I will use drinkfinder again in a hurry. I should have read trustpilot reviews before ordering. Lesson learned the hard way!

Hi Mehnaz Unfortunately on this occasion you placed your order on Good Friday for a Saturday delivery. Our office for online orders is shut at the weekend and in addition was shut on Good Friday and Easter Monday due to being a national bank holiday. Hi Ann We do apologise that on this occasion when you rang to place an order we nobody was free to take it. We have been short staffed with seasonal sickness and swamped with festive orders. We do appreciate you being able to place the order on the website as you did. I ordered bottles of rum from Drink Finder. They delivered a different/incorrect rum to the ones ordered. This was meant to be taken on holiday, but I had to send them back for a refund and order from another supplier. I now need to waste my time re-posting the wrong delivery and spend more time re-ordering. Will need to await refund. The company said that it was "human error". Would not order from them again.

Hi Linda We are sorry to hear of your disappointment to claiming a refund for the delivery. It was an economy delivery service that was paid for (2-3 working days) and the parcel arrived on day 3 within the given timeframe. If products are required sooner, our Express Delivery is an excellent next working day service for a minor additional cost. Regards Drink Finder

Ordered a week ago and took the 2 to 3 day cycle for delivery. Still not here and considering that we live an hour away from where you are based I believe this is poor service. Should have arrived in time to make my mothers xmas... didn't happen. Don't offer a service you can't meet.

Hi James Sorry for the inconvenience caused with the local depot between us and yourself. Due to the Royal Mail strikes we have been, like most companies pushing all consignments with their couriers and overweighing them with more than they can handle which has caused delays with some deliveries. Well what can I say? I paid for express delivery to be delivered on the 21st June ready fory birthday on the 24th June. When it still hadn't arrived on the afternoon of the 22nd, I called Drink Finder to inquire where it was. They said DHL have it and it is out of their hands. Well it is now the 26rh and still no delivery. Pathetic to say the least. What a waste of time and money and a birthday partially ruined to boot.

Hi Simon The issue with the delivery was a little out of our hands, but we monitored it and updated you every step of the way. There was a breakage and then this came back to us, which we replaced the order with fresh stock. We gave a refund for the delivery and a refund for a few of the products as a few drinks on us for your belated birthday. We would say we went above and beyond dealing with something that was out of our hands. Drink Finder

Bought a gift for a friend I was visiting in the USA, or at least thought I had: I was contacted a few days after ordering to tell me that they didn't actually have the item in question after all. It was then too late to acquire it from elsewhere before we left. If they're this bad at inventory management, what else is wrong I wonder. Avoid.

Shocking excuse for a company that misrepresents products online, changes it and the description after the fact and then proceeds say that the issue is a presentational one. I know the product I was attempting to purchase very well, and do not accept the word of a guy in marketing whose literal job is to make goods marketable/enticing to the consumer. It would seem, by misleading them too. Since the company won’t refund me I have submitted a claim and supporting evidence to PayPal in the event that this will be resolved the way it should have been.

Hi Doug, We can see from your order history you are purchasing whisky with high demand and low availability. Unfortunately, as you will have experienced time and time again with many companies, websites are unable to keep up with the demand for limited released whiskies. When we oversell, like the others, we work through the orders in chronological order and once the allocation is depleted we issue full refunds. We are sorry you were disappointed on this occasion. Hello We are sorry this vintage change slipped through the net with the high volume. The invoice and delivery note from the UK supplier still stated 2016. We do endeavour to call a customer if a change has been made and we notice it in good time. Your order was one that got through before this vintage had been noticed - only a few hours since delivery. We do state in our Terms and Conditions the following: Strength & Vintages May vary from those shown, but we will update as often as possible. In these circumstances we will send the next vintage available. Please specify in the extra Info if you require a specific vintage or strength. Resolved there and then on the phone with you; we booked the collection from you for the new vintage and offered a full refund with no problem. Drink Finder

1. Couldn't order online from Australia to deliver to business and family in the UK (42 bottles) because the checkout doesn't have Australia as a billing address country. 2. Wrote to them via their online contact form, it didn't confirm it was sent so... 3. Wrote direct to their listed email address sales@ Didn't get a response. 4. Ordered from Hennings instead.

Waited a week, then i decided to make contact, only to find out none in stock and not getting anymore in. Makes me wonder how long I would have waited to find this out if I hadn't made contact first. Not very good for a first time buyer.

Hi Thomas, We attempted to call you at the first point of processing your order and finding we were short of the stock. Sadly there was no answer and no voicemail to leave a message. I orderd a bottle with a different cover around the bottle. On the picture was a old packshot of the product which I was looking for. I received the new one and nobody is interested in taking care of my problem!!

Hi Gunther, We have been in communication with you via email and you have not replied to our last email. We explained that the image on the site is the correct presentation for what you have received. This was a sale item and end of line which had been heavily discounted. We offered that you could send back to us at your own cost from Germany for a refund of the bottle only. But you have not replied. Regards Drink Finder

I have ordered Springbank 2016 and paid premium price not rrp but when received it wasn’t brand new condition. There was scratches all around box as it was gift for someone so I returned and got my full refund..all good but biggest disappointment was when drink finder replied that product doesn’t has to be same as pictures shown on website...well it’s not auction site or secondary market site even they show or write description if product is somehow not like new ... I buy at least 50 bottles a month online never had that kind response before....

Hi Randhir We are sorry that you were disappointed with this product and order. The item was in brand new condition as it came into us from Springbank. It is well known that their presentation cardboard boxes are inexpensive and not well made, on this occasion there was some ink that had rubbed off. Images shown are for illustration purposes as we have multiple of the item and can not list every one separately like an auction site would.
