The Gift message. As a gift the message is written on the repict not really a gift message!!!

Hi Simon Its simply a gift message, its not a gift card or postcode (although we hope to implement a gift card message type of service soon). It was not on a receipt, it was on a packing slip which states what is meant to be in the package, who its from. No prices are shown, just relevant information. We are sorry if you expected more and feel that 1 star reflects the speed of the delivery and quality of the service. All the best Drinkfinder

Types Diplimatico vintage 2000 into google. Your site then had a picture of Diplimatico 2000 on the web page, so I though I was buying that. Instead the I was sent a 2002 bottle at a price that is £18 more than some over retailers.

Probably the weather. This order was for a birthday gift two days after the order was placed last Monday for next day delivery. Okay, snow came, but I am still waiting for the delivery and I have just received a message from UK Mail that the driver tried to deliver this morning and left a card. I have been in all morning and there is no card! Obviously went to the wrong house!!!

Never even got the gin to try, stock levels weren’t accurate with the internet then the company wasn’t prepared to work with me regarding delivery costs so I could still have the guns I had originally ordered. Disappointed

paid for next day delivery. Courier claimed to have made delivery attempt 2 days later - couldn't have as my electronic gates are connected to 3 different phones so that we can be contacted anywhere in the world when delivery is attempted. No delivery attempted. no card left as claimed. 1 week after ordering still waiting for next day delivery. Arived on the 8th day. no delivery attempt just thrown over 6 foot gates. courier claimed we had signed for it. He never even knocked. fraud if hes signed it. we were all in at the time but again gate not buzzed by driver. I realise the courier is the company at fault but whilst drinkfinder use them with shoddy service they have to accept responsibility. I have asked for a refund of my next day delivery charge. If drinkfinder values its' customer service they will refund.

First order with this company and they sent the wrong wine. Contacted them by email to enquire but they have not been in contact. Extremely disappointing and proof that this is not a reputable company. Wish I had read the negative reviews beforehand - it's only when something goes wrong that one gets an idea about the character of a company. Avoid at all costs.

I ordered for next day delivery on a Thursday and it arrived on Tuesday. After only deciding to order with the next day delivery as the website informed me I still had time to order that evening.

Stock on website was not available, after paying for goods was told they did not have in stock. Then had to phone again to remind them to refund my money

Bought a bottle of rum for Father's Day on the Thursday with express delivery and didn't arrive till the Monday , therefore the gift was irrelevant, I have attempted to get in touch with drinksfinder and they have never replied

Hopeless! I ordered a bottle as a present for my son's birthday. I asked for a message to him to say Happy Birthday from Mum. They ignored this and sent the invoice to him with the product. He had no idea who it was from and thought he had to pay🙁 I ordered it in the name of Bee Inch to be delivered to Neil Freeman. I am very dissatisfied with your service

Hello I am very sorry to hear this. After looking in to the order it appears the gift message you added was not put through to the correct section to appear on the packing slip that went in to the box, we are unsure why this happened and can only apologise for this error. When you placed the order you have put your sons details in for the billing address so when your son received the order he would not have seen any of your details on it to indicate who placed it. I'm yet to receive my purchase. I've had several notifications to say that delivery has been attempted by Hermes but not received any cards through the door so that I can rearrange. Two of the 'delivery attempted' notifications were sent whilst I was at home! Hermes is a notoriously bad courier service and I'm afraid Drinkfinder's choice to use it reflects badly!

I ordered a bottle of whisky to take away as a gift was told it would be posted on the Monday. On the Thursday morning rang to see where it was and was told it was about to be posted and that my order had been hidden under some papers. I cancelled my order. Doesn't give me much confidence on ordering again. The chap I spoke to didn't seem very concerned.

We have not received our order in time for Christmas. It was ordered in plenty of time but the couriers didn't deliver. I contacted you on Friday and to be told that they would try to deliver on Christmas Eve but it still didn't arrive.

My order that I paid extra for Saturday delivery did not get delivered till the Monday - but what is worse is that I emailed regarding this and you have never replied....

Hello I am very sorry you have not had a reply, i have had a look for an email and can not find one so i am unsure what has happened. I have looked into your delivery and when you placed your order Saturday delivery was not selected, the next day option was selected which as in our delivery info orders are delivered Mon-Fri unless Saturday is selected.
