“We ha my daughter 8yo girl birthday party- very disappointing!! Music, games, entertainment were really boring, no energy! Kids did not enjoyed! Would not recommend and would not book again!”

“Thoroughly disappointed and found I had to apologise to some parents because the entertainer just lost control of the party. One of the key features was wizard & fairy themed games first half of the party. It was just dancing and dancing. One of the games she made the kids stand to the sideline to find the final 4 best dancers. So all the kids were left out in the side for a good 5 minutes because she dragged it out really long. Essentially it was 80% dancing. Dancing dancing and more dancing. Where were the do called games? In essence I felt like she was trying to drag it out with dancing because she didn't have enough games under her sleeve or she didn't want to play the games. There was one game which included some boards. Then there were just dancing related 'games'. By that I mean the entertainer did the who's the best dancer about 6 times. Funny & Interactive Magic Show - second half of party, this is your second feature. She captured the kids attention for 5 minutes then they all started to disperse. She made no effort to regroup them. And the magic show was pathetic. That's not a magic show. Honestly please do not deceive people. Everyone came prepared for a magic show. We got the last 15 minutes of some shambles which is partly due to the entertainers inability to entice the children and partly due to the so called 'magic' or lack of magic she was supposed to be performing. Furthermore, there were no bubbles as promised. We will definitely not be recommending DNA Kids to others. DNA Kids party does not deliver what it sells.”

“I booked the Cool Kids Disco for my son’s 8th Birthday party for Sunday 20th November and it was truly horrific. We had Awesome Angel as the children’s entertainer and he was just terrible from the start. First of all he arrives 10 minutes late, 20 minutes after the party should have started he comes to me and says there is something wrong with his speakers and asks if I know anybody who knows anything about speakers which I thought was odd as he was the DJ! He then spends the next 40 minutes or so on the phone whilst another parent and myself had to step in and take over as the entertainer. My husband had to go home and get a speaker so we could play music and we even used the DJ’s mic to speak to the children and get them involved with games that we came up with ourself while he was outside on his phone. The DJ tried to engage with the children only a couple of times and that’s only after I asked if he could play some games with them as they had been waiting a long time but all he did is tell them to get into a circle and then he would walk outside to talk on the phone and leave them again! There was also another game he tried with a long stick but he did that for only a couple of minutes and then he left the stick in the hands of the children while he went outside to talk on the phone again so I had to take it from them because it was a hazard! I had to remind Angel of the snow machine that I had paid extra for because I guarantee if I had not, it wouldn’t have been used. Angel also hands my son his medal after the party has finished, all of his friends had left and while Angel was packing up his equipment so I’m guessing he forgot about that too. When the party had finished, Angel comes to me and tells me that the speakers were now MAGICALLY FIXED!! He informs me that I will be asked to leave a review and if I ask for a full refund he will have to pay £400 out of his own pocket to the company. If the other parent hadn’t helped me entertain the children and If we didn’t own a speaker that I could connect my phone to and thankfully not live too far away from the venue then I hate to think how my son’s birthday party would have turned out. This was my first time using DNA kids and it will be my last. My son, my other children and all of my son’s friends were completely and utterly let down by Awesome angel. PS please inform me why you ask for siblings names and ages? Because nothing was done regarding this either.”

“Giving them 1 star as I there is no option for zero. The entertainer never showed up and had to spend first hour just waiting for them and calling their office. I had to then scramble my resources last minute to arrange for things and keep the kids entertained. They ruined my daughter’s birthday party. I am never going to use them nor the 32 guests who visited. They didn’t even bother to send an apology message. Very unprofessional behaviour.”

I would like to apologise for firstly the incident that occurred on Sunday and secondly that I have not been in contact sooner. Unfortunately I have been an annual leave and apologise someone did not get in contact with you on Monday morning. Unfortunately your allocated entertainer was involved in an accident in the morning and was unable to contact us to let us know. The first we knew there was an issue was when you contacted our out of hours number and we tried to contact your entertainer without success. If we has known there was a issue we would have started to arrange a replacement entertainer for your party much earlier, this does not excuse what happened but wanted to explain what had happened. The weekend on call team did arrange a replacement entertainer however they were from slightly further away which is why he arrived so late. Once again we are sorry and completely understand your frustration and upset. We are truly sorry to the birthday girl for not being able to give her the party as booked. “I wanted to share feedback on the Dance and Magic party which was scheduled on 30th Jan 2022. Good: The entertainer was fantastic and was on time at 10am. She did a good job with keeping kids in high spirits. She had to step in at the last moment and did best with the resources she had, Bad: I am made to believe the entertainer was a last minute replacement for someone else. However, I imagined the original person would hand over party specifics i.e. Song Selection etc. Clearly this was not done and the entertainer who turned up was not aware of the child's favourite song list which we had provided many days before. This was totally unexpected and unprofessional from DNA Kids. My child ended up crying at the party as none of her favourites were played. I had a tough time convincing her. Even at bedtime yesterday she sobbed when she remembered this. It would also have looked a bit more professional if the entertainer was in DNA Kids uniform. After paying £299 for the party, I certainly did not expect this - and that too for a Dance party where music / song is key. Lack of a streamline process in case of last minute issues to entertainers was the key problem and DNA Kids let me down there. Good luck booking with them but keep fingers crossed that there is no last minute change else you are not sure what you will get. Sent them this feedback just after the even and they are still ‘investigating’ – no rush please as I will never book with them again.”

“The virtual party was supposed to start at 2pm and it started 20 minutes late!!! This is a party for 6 year old kids and it’s unacceptable to start it late especially when it’s a virtual party! Most of the kids got tired of waiting and didn’t join. Needless to say how disappointed and upset my son was. When I called them 2.05 they said the entertainer had technical problems and they’re trying to find another entertainer. This is simply shocking for me. Why is your entertainer checking the computer technical compliance at 2 pm??? The music request was not delivered either! NOT WORTHY. Avoid DNA kids”

“There was no warning on the invite that the party would involve flashing lights and excessively loud music (that might sound grumpy, but it does affect some of us). The organiser's microphone was too loud, distorted and grating. The organiser was very poor at ensuring prizes were distributed evenly, so some kids got a few and others got none. Games were unimaginative and largely revovled around popping bubbles. The theme was pirates, princess and heroes but the party had nothing to do with this theme. Not impressed!”

“We were extremely disappointed with our sons party in November. The wacky science party was not at all what was expected. The science experiments were over in a flash yet took a long time to set each one up, they also didn't work which left a lot of the children running around and not engaged. We were expecting a mad scientist to turn up in costume but it was just a chap in a red t-shirt with his cap on backwards. The party games were repeatedly stopped to get parent participation which left everyone feeling awkward and the children feeling frustrated. The music was not current but instead consisted of Chu Chu Ua with yet more parent participation. Overall a complete let down and I would not use again or recommend.”

“I am very disappointed with the reviews of my guest. I asked for a cool kids disco party and what I got was hardly what I saw on the website. i asked the entertainer to engage the kids as well as the adults but it seemed to the guests that she had no interest in the event. Out of two hours she spent most of her time behind the system. It was not what I saw in the videos on the site. The entertainer hardly seemed interested. Almost all my guests had a very negative review about the entertainer and I was immensely disappointed. My event was utterly ruined. Not what I expected at all. I still paid the entire cost because I couldn't handle any further headache but now I had to vent out because of all the guests that were disappointed with the entertainment.”

“The wacky science was far from the truth. I’ve had other kids entertainers in the past, but this one is nothing like how they advertise online. I was told when booking it’s there best package. It was my daughters 10th and had high expectations but unfortunately it was a dull experience for everyone no excitement even my daughter herself admitted it could of been better. I also was expecting two host but only one came who I thought lacked in confidence n drive. It’s not worth it. Check else where!”
