Really happy with delivery time al be it came damaged by the courier. Replacement was done instantly and very fast turn around.

Direct Stoves themselves were excellent unfortunately the whole experience was marred by a very unpleasant driver who refused to deliver to my street claiming that there was not enough room to manoeuvre,this is the first time in over 35 years that this has happened

Very good, delivery was good. Only slight grumble is the design of the fire. When we open the door ash falls out as there is a gap between the base plate and the holding bar. Other than that the fire works excellent.

Nice stove, a great blend of traditional and contemporary. Seems to be performing well. Be warned if ordering the stovepipe/Register combination pack, the register is blank with no pre cut stovepipe hole which is pointless. It also doesn’t give its overall dimensions when ordering. Simple website fix that will save a lot of hassle for the customer.

Small ash pan and fire doesn’t seem to shut down properly, small ash pan handle , also small round part missing go5 on it

Easy to navigate site. Plenty of choice. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 is because the carrier they chose to use charge £75 if you want the fire brought in to the house. My parents chose free delivery as they are on a tight budget and the driver left the fire outside in the rain. It was 3 hours before we could finish work and take it indoors. It was upsetting. That said, the fire is in and looks lovely. They love it and it's had many compliments from neighbours who are also shocked it was left on the doorstep. Just something to think of to add £75 on each price if you want it over the front step.

We bought a multi fuel burner from direct stoves, excellent purchase but communication between staff is very poor. Delivery was due on a Tuesday but arrived on the Monday, luckily someone was a home. They say door delivery, but it isn’t ours was left on the driveway.

Hi Lesley, Thank you very much for your feedback. We're sorry to hear of the issues experienced with this order. Our one-man delivery does specify that: "The drivers are contracted to deliver the item to your property and must use a pallet truck to lift/move the goods which are normally quite heavy and can be up to 1mtr wide (occasionally larger). If they cannot operate the pallet truck safely due to gravel/stone drives, steps, or slopes as examples they will only be able to leave the item at the first available access point. They will try to assist as best they can but can only stay at each property for a limited period. They cannot bring the goods inside your house and will leave the goods with you on the delivery pallet." If the driver does not feel that they are able to safely transport the pallet delivery to the front door then unfortunately they must leave the goods at the closest access point. Similarly, while we do apologise for the confusion regarding delivery, ultimately any delivery dates requested are not 100% guaranteed. Rescheduling through our shipping partner should have been fully communicated by said partner and we would still apologise on their behalf for the inconvenience. Just installed our 7.5kw Opus Harmony multi-fuel stove & log store complete with twin wall flue kit. Really heavy stove, so much care was needed to install but looks amazing.

Very solidly built fire. Could do with something to stop rain coming down chimney. Otherwise, very happy with service and product but have only used it once so far.

Very competitive pricing and availability. Only issue was no tracking info for delivery. Spoke with customer service who also had difficulty in understanding why.

I ordered an Axon Millbeck, but received a Woodford Turing. A phone call established that they were one and the same, branded differently. Delivered on a pallet to the front of the house and as I hadn't paid for a two man delivery had to manoeuvre it into the house. It was very heavy! It looks great, and seems very well made, consistent with the lifetime guarantee. I'm waiting for it to be fitted so can't comment on performance, but I'd be surprised if it doesn't perform as expected.

Can't fault Direct Stoves for service and delivery however the quality of the Carron stove supplied is somewhat disappointing. Water came out of joints on first fire up, colour doest match flue and there is no riddle for the Ash?

The multifuel kit for the Carron stove would typically include a grate, front fire bar and ash pan. We only rarely hear of issues with ash spilling etc. where stoves are overloaded with fuel. My stove was delivered just a week ago, it will not be installed for another 2 weeks so too early to judge. But ordering and delivery worked well so I have high hopes.

I am happy with the my log burner, and only now trying it out. Seems to be working well. But there is no instructions manual around how to use it. The delivery came a day before the date arranged luckily I was home.

Very pleased with the fire. Staff are very polite and helpful. Delivery driver was also very polite and helpful. The only reason it’s not a five is because the instructions for arranging the coals and logs was not clear to me.

Purchased an Axon wood stove from Direct Stove, after a quick call to ensure it was in stock and could be arranged on a certain date - order was placed online - delivery in the morning as requested - looks great - just waiting to use in as the nights draw in. I would have preferred a glove to a mitten to open/close the stove door.
