“I have a small fledgling business and used Digital Printing Ireland for greeting card options. Loved the fact OI could try out all their paper types, finishes and weights with the complimentary sample pack. Made it so much easier to make a decision with confidence. I do have experience using the Adobe suite so the design of my cards wasn't difficult but they do give very good downloadable instructions and templates for whatever product you are getting and the format you have. Prices are competitive and the delivery is efficient but you do have to spend over €105 before VAT to get it free. Which in my case is a struggle as I'm a small business so I don't have the capital to buy large amounts each time. Also, I doubt I'll get much value from the rewards scheme as I again would have to buy a high volume. Fingers crossed that will change. The quality of the greeting cards is high and a bonus.....you get white envelopes but I couldn't find an option for plastic sleeves (even eco-friendly versions). Thankfully I did manage to source them locally but it could be a great option! Lastly their Irish. I try my best to source local suppliers as I understand what it's like to trade in a demanding and competitive climate.”

Hi Gina Thanks for your review and sharing your card - which look great. We do always wish to provide quality prints for our customers with prompt service. We do keep our prices as competitive as possible so discounts cannot be provided on lower value orders as the costs are already as low as possible. I am glad the service you received especially with the free sample pack and downloads of templates were of such assistance to you. I do understand your concern over the eco friendly envelopes but as we are printing company we do not have the supply of such envelopes as they only apply to a small number of our total products. “Ordered some bookmarks, but they were not cut correctly. Customer service was responsive and they handled the situation beautifully. An easy mistake to make and they fixed it with no issue. Received the properly cut bookmarks within days of contacting them, and they are gorgeous.”

“Great customer service and a very easy site to use but my last two deliveries arrived with the packaging badly damaged. Maybe a word to your courier service!”

“Very fast and good service, I received an e-mail about an issue with my file, which got resolved fast, and the delivery still got to me in time. Used textured paper which worked really well with the bright colors and made the details pop!”

“Happy with the order. Will order again. Great print and paper quality. Not so much customer support, as the employee who answered my question about the best alternative paper for my needs was dismissive and said they don’t stock the right paper, although I found several perfect substitutes for what I ideally needed within their Luxury paper option. Almost lost a customer.”

“The cards were printed and sent out in a timely fashion, they looked good and professional. Some extras were thrown in, which was a nice bonus. I would say that they were a bit darker and had a slightly pinker hue than the original photos. It would good to get some feedback as to whether this tends to be the case with everything, as I likely will order from you again in the future, and maybe I should adjust the images to make them paler and less pink before I send them? It was most obvious on the pale blue business card. Also, it would have been good if there was a way to save my previous order and order the exact same thing again in the future except in different quantities Overall, I was happy with the product and the support provided. With regards to the issue with the colours, we do recommend that artwork be sent through in CMYK colours rather than the standard RGB. RGB is designed for viewing on a lit monitor and screen and will appear duller on a printed page. CMYK will give a truer representation on your screen. There is information on this on our website. When make an account all orders placed using it will have the orders saved where you can select reorder. “It would be unfair to post a review based solely on my most recent experience of using DPI as I generally find you attentive, accommodating and professional but I was disappointed with how the last order/s went and ultimately I missed two deadlines as a result. I did also have a problem previously with a book project which was collated wrongly and it was resolved quickly and very satisfactorily which I was impressed with. I am in business for almost 30 years and I know mistakes and mishaps are part of business. I realise that I probably also took my eye off the ball when ordering but I felt the ordering system was not very clear too from the outset. Happy to be contacted to discuss.”

“Our first order was lost by the delivery company so we had to wait quite a lot of time for our order but the staff were very helpful and sent another banner as quickly as possible keeping us in the loop with emails so thank you for that.”

“The order process was somewhat confusing which made me make a mistake on how many copies of each design I'd like. Customer support was really good about it and explained it to me. It was sent very quickly, unfortunately DPD lost it for a couple of days and it also arrived slightly damaged. One of the ends of the tube was pressed and he edge of the vynil poster was a little bit scraped. I was refunded the postage costs by digitalprinting ireland”

I am sorry however that there was a delay through the courier and it also ended up damaged in the process. Thank you for your review. We do value our customer support and do wish to make it as easy and efficient to place orders and receive prints. We do process over 1000 orders a day and would not be able to proof each job without dramatically affecting our turnaround times and only offer when specifically requested and state it can cause delays so we, therefore, do ask for artwork to be provided print ready.
