I’m not someone who has ever suffered from Acne or any issues with my skin, however, I’m a 33 year old man and I’ve been lucky so far with my skin as I have no fine lines around my eyes, forehead, or anywhere else compared to friends who definitely have baked in the sun on holiday ever year and used sun beds.
Im someone who hates warm or hot weather so I avoid beach holidays. I also have a condition called: Generalised Cranial Hyperhydrosis. I have had this condition for over a decade and it has impacted me in many ways. The most significant effect is a severe lack of confidence and anxiety.
I sweat no where else on my body other than my face, neck, my entire head, back and front, and my upper chest.
I’ve tied ever treatment available, I’ve been prescribed aluminium hydrochloride which does help however, it burns your skin. My face has actually drawn blood because of how harsh it is. I’ve tried sprays, gels, medication in the form of a tablet which had horrific side effects. My eyes dried up so bad that my eye lids stuck to my eyeballs. I stopped this immediately. My final treatment was Botox all over my face, scalp and the back of my neck which was effective but it cost a fortune to maintain.
I had always had normal skin, it was oily and I was always told that oily skin prevents fine lines and wrinkles which I wasn’t sure was true, however, after using all of the harsh treatments for my condition I found Dermitica online and I love the products and how my skin has repaired and is no longer painful.
I have my personal formula which I use at night after I cleanse using the: Caring Squalane cream cleanser which is very soothing and packed full of moisture.
I also balance my cleansers with the Balancing Glycerin Gel Cleanser which is great for sensitive skin like mine, and feels great to use.
Because i use my personal formula on a night time, I don’t use it everyday. I use my treatment 3 to 4 times a week, and I have began to include the Clarifying Azelaic Acid 20% Cream in between which worked fantastic using after both the Squalane Cream Cleanser as well as the Balancing Glycerin Gel Cleanser.
I know that we are advised to not use our personal treatments near our eyes and mouth, but I have been using my treatment under my eyes and my eye lids when my eyes are closed and I’m amazed at the effect it has on dark circles under the eyes! I never used to have dark circles under my eyes until recently but the difference after applying my formula, leaving it to soak in to my skin and then applying the great Nourishing Ceramide + Peptide Moisturiser has completely transformed my skin and the difference has been noticed by my family and friends, and also just the other day my barber commented on my skin and how “well you looked” which was really nice to see that not only I feel and see the difference, but others do also.

“After seeing a social media advert, I completed the skin questionnaire to see if there was anything that could help. After finishing 18 months of breast cancer treatment my skin needed help. I’m coming up to 45 and I feel I have aged these past two years and was hopeful that Dermatica could assist with that.
After the consultation, I received an email with further questions to answer. It turns out I have rosacea that’s been exasperated by the treatment. I’ve always had slightly flushed cheeks, but just used to slap on corrective concealer and that was that!
I know it is going to take at least 3 months to start seeing a difference, but what has the past 5 days brought?
A HUGE difference in hydration. I also purchased the Nourishing Kit and SPF and these work seamlessly with the nighttime prescription treatment. My skin switched from oily to being as dry as the Sahara desert after chemo, but it is now for the first time post treatment, plump, supple and super soft all day.
My morning routine is cleanse, serum, moisturise and SPF50. Evening is double cleanse, treatment and moisturiser. I find I have to use more moisturiser in the evenings as after the treatment has soaked in. Maybe Dermatica can produce a night cream as well as an eye cream in the not too distant future? They will certainly be in my basket if you do.
So next it’s a case of keeping up with my routine and taking monthly photos so I can see the positive changes. Glad I found Dermatica and would highly recommend.”
