“All delivered and ordered with ease. The purple slate could be more purple, instead of a bluey grey .Having said that it is not a problem for us. Thankyou”

“Arrived at same time as shopping delivery. It’s always the way. Two young men, good humoured and polite, taking time to place the stones in the most convenient place. Many thanks.”

“Easy to order and came when they said. The stones are really good quality and all the same size. Not like other bulk deliveries where some stones are a lot smaller or a lot larger and maybe different shades. My front garden now looks lovely. 👌”

“I regret not ordering from the local garden centre for the sake of saving 40quid. Issues with delivery which was attempted twice, with equally unhelpful delivery drivers. The first one couldn't get it off the lorry because the pallet had broken due to it not being robust enough for 800KGs of slate. On the second delivery attempt the driver would not bring the stone onto our property, and was quite rude to my wife implying it was our fault for not reading the small print. Yet when we placed the order, there was a specific box to leave detailed instructions on where the delivery needed to be placed. What is the point of this box if you're then going to instruct a kerbside only delivery? The slate itself was covered in quarry dust so required a lot of hosing down, and although advertised as 40mm, was actually a mix of 5-40mm. After the palaver of delivery I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of sending it back so we cracked on and used it and it looks fine, but can't help thinking what could have been if I'd just gone for that bag from the garden centre....”
