We do charge a small service fee to go towards the cost of providing excellent customer service which we know is so important to our customers. Our reservation agents are available 7 days a week, until 10 pm, to provide assistance both before and after a booking has been made. Whatever the service fee, we offer a price match guarantee which means that even including the charge we guarantee best value and best service. Unlike many other companies we include our fees in the headline price making the full cost of the hotel stay clear at the outset so there are no hidden charges. “What let's this hotel down are the tired bedrooms foe example mould around the paint on the windows, a huge stain (Carpet stain remover maybe) cobwebs on the wall. Some staff forget they are part of a four star establishment ! The excellent cuisine is the saving grac The evening meals eserved by well trained staff add to the ambiance of the excellent chef. Finally the changing rooms at the swimming pool need someone on hand at least r times daily to ensure the floors and toilets are kept clean. My rating would be 3* not 4*”

“Good website experience, booking was easy and cheaper than booking direct with the hotel! I needed to change my booking, so phoned Country Hotel's quite late at night, phone was answered, spoke to Helena who updated my booking instantly, sent a confirmation email and follow up email; so very pleased with high quality of customer service. Would definitely use again and recommend”

“I have never used your website before, but I found it extremely easy to navigate and when I phoned the booking line to book my break I found the lady (who was called Kirsty I think) on the other end of the line very informed on the hotel I was about to book and very polite and helpful. Thank you for your help and I will gladly write a review after my break.”
