“Review solely based on booking and interaction with Country Hotel Breaks. This website is fantastic! Great package deals and the communication and interaction is fabulous with the customer service team! I had some 'requests' (dinner reservation time, etc) on our booking and they emailed me instantly to let me know they had put the request in. A few days after booking we emailed the customer service team , after not being able to get hold of the hotel directly, to ask if there was a possibility of a room with a garden view and they responded within only a few hours to let me know they had spoken to the hotel etc - absolutely fantastic customer service and I really hope our stay at our chosen hotel is as good as this companies booking!”

“if you purchase a break you cant use it to book for seven days even though the receipt will state you can book straight away. Be careful as you will lose any potential bookings and be treated with distain when questioning such a restriction.”

Dear Mr Goodfellow. This is not the case at all. The great majority of reservations are confirmed instantly, and the minority that need to be referred back to the hotel are generally confirmed within an hour or so. However, we completely understand the confusion around this, as you had read some outdated information relating to our gift vouchers. We apologise for this, and the confusing sentence has now been removed from our site. All the best Country Hotel Breaks

“We have used this company many times for weekend etc away. Most of the hotels are very good, just a couple that needed to sort themselves out, Regarding the rooms, or lack of staff. But it has not put us off using them again (just not back to those 2 hotels) we have 3 other trips away this year with country hotels.”

“We haven't been on the trip yet but the booking process was seamless. Confirmation from hotel within moments so no stress as to whether the hotel accepted us on preferred dates etc. Well done Country breaks. A great late summer/ early autumn deal”

“Overall hotel, ground and staff were lovely. Food service and choice very poor six starters of which four were fish, no vegetarian option to start and only one vegetarian option for main meal with same menu two nights running, waited over an hour for food both nights, no sign of management, very disappointing. Garden room promoted as something exclusive but furniture and décor were more reflective of a staff canteen.”

“Our break at Bedford Swan Hotel was marred by little unnecessary incidents: Safe in room not working. Reception promised to send someone but nothing happened. Request some milk sachets. Reception said housekeeping will provide straight away but none appeared and had to go to local shop to buy our own supply. On checking out tried to overcharge us!”

“My husband and I needed a few days break after illness and burnham Beeches certainly fitted the Bill.The food was lovely.we stayed 3 evenings and perhaps a change of menu would have been nice.Nevertheless we found something different to have each evening and the lovely George always made our visit enjoyable.”
