Visited website and booked on Sunday, received marketing on Monday and confirmation finally arrives on Wednesday. A total of 67 hours between booking and confirming a stay. Not exactly stunning performance. Hopefully the stay itself won't be so underwhelming as the marketing is far superior to the booking experience.

I had a problem paying for the break on line. Right at the end on clicking to pay the site instructed me to click on the hotel Ap which would then finally confirm that payment has gon through. On doing that nothing happened! I had to call the reservation desk the next day to I make the payment. May be there was a glitch in the system. Please check this out.

Booking was simple. However, I attempted to book evening meals for all three evenings for my stay but the confirmation I received back was incorrect as your it stated that I was booking a further table for four people instead of the proper quantity of only two people. I tried to alter the bookings online but have had no feedback as to whether I succeeded.

Dear Mr Hill, We do not send out dinner confirmations ourselves, it appears this was sent by the hotel. However, I have spoken with Hatton Court and they have confirmed that your dinner has been booked for your requested time each evening at 19.15pm, for two people. They apologise for the wrong information being sent to you, there appeared to be a glitch with their automatic booking system. We hope you have an enjoyable stay. Best wishes Cotswold Hotel Breaks

A very disappointing break. We selected this hotel as it was advertised as a SPA hotel. On arrival we were given a room in a separate building, on the third floor and there are no lifts. On entering the room it was to hot to stay in there and there was no AC or fans. We went to the SPA and was told that all treatments were fully booked for the week. We went to reception to complain and were told that they are not a SPA hotel and only have two treatment rooms and one therapist? They did upgrade us to a better room in the main building that had AC, the only problem was that the golfers staying at the hotel clearly enjoyed late night drinking and constantly slammed their room doors late into the night. The first night the meal in the restaurant was very good but the second night it was a disaster, the order got mixed up and our side orders were forgotten. My steak was inedible and when we complained the waitress was clearly shocked as she said it should be good as the Head Chef is cooking tonight? The poor food appeared to be linked to a very busy restaurant and staff were clearly struggling. All in all, I would not recommend this hotel.

I found the website to be very comprehensive, I chose, and booked a two night break away, only to find that I had immediately been charged for this and cancellation would not be possible without charge even after one day of booking. I have NEVER known this before and as a result, I will not be using Cotswold Hotel Breaks again

STAFF VERY FREINDLY AND HELPFULL HOTEL GREAT LOCATION, FIRST ROOM SHOWER, QUITE LARGEBUT NOT ABLE TO CONTROL THE TEMPERATURE, WATER CAME OUT SCALDING HOT, REPLACEMENT ROOM VERY LARGE , ALSO THE BATHROOM . DISSAP[OINTED WITH THE MENU IN THE RESTAURANT ONLY ABOUT 5 OR 6 CHOICES NO REAL VEGATARIAN CHOICE FOR MY WIFE. WE STAYED AT THE STONEHOUSE LAST YEAR AND FOUND IT GREAT , MAY NOT GO BACK UNDER PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCES.

I struggled with the booking system. It said their was an account already with my email address as I have used you before but could not remember the password so followed the instructions to retrieve my password but it kept taking me to the same page asking for a password. After 5 attempts I used my work email to book and chose a new password which I am sure I will forget again in the future so anticipate the same problem next time I book. Otherwise once in was simple enough.

Arrived at hotel. Our booking includes dinner but no availability in the dining room between 6pm and 9.30. ' your travel agent should have booked a time'
