“My husband read about you and we decided to order. I was so impressed I ordered a handle for myself. Best Shave Ever !! So happy in fact I have now purchased sets for two of my sons for Christmas. Fantastic Blades, excellent service a fabulous and stress free shaving experience.”

“I have been using Wilkinson Hydro Groomer for best part of 18 months but as the beard trimmer kept failing I decided to try a few razors. The cornerstone razor is very well presented and gives a good close shave, the only reason I've left it at 4 stars is that I would prefer if it had a trimmer blade to get close to the Sideburns and Base of Nose. I tried Gillette Fusion ProShield Flexball which was good but didn't offer as close a shave as Cornerstone and was probably on par with the Wilkinson Hydro I'd previously been using. I also tried the King of Shaves Hyperglide System and having previously used their blades and still using their shave gel I was hoping for the best but it was by far the worst. Even with a fresh blade it felt like the hairs were being ripped rather than cut.”

“Got my trial the other day. Good quality product. Blade shaves as well as the Gillette it will replace. Shave foam good quality. And nice to be buying from an independent British brand rather than a faceless multinational.”

“Put simply ,with out the could be this could that, it has been the best personal shave ever. I have what is called a lived in face so I'm prone to nicks cuts etc ,not a pretty sight, so I tend to change blade makes regularly. With some trepidation I ordered my first pack ,scrub,shave cream and of course blades. The results where great no nicks ,cuts just a good honest shave. I'll be honest I was a bit sceptical about the scrub and how good the cream was, they do what they say they do. No more waffle if your a newbie to shaving don't waste time use it ,if your thinking its a load of guff spend a few bob and give it a go,you get your initials on the handle as well. One tip I've found works for all wet shave , keep the blade warm by running it under the hot tap regularly while you shave”

“I have had no problems with the use of my blade so far. Yes the blade may clog up a little bit but that's to be expected from almost all blades. The quality feels good and the weight of the blade is nice, like another review said though, rubber gripping could be a good addition. Otherwise the customer service is great, the promptness with the post was great and the shave is lovely”

“I am quite ‘frugal’ when using product and find the Cornerstone products (cream, scrub and balm) very rich, thus only needing small amounts. The razor itself is nicely weighted but could do with a bit more grip, say rubber inserts at the sides maybe, the blades and 'flex design' are brilliant and each one lasts me at least 2-3 weeks, although I have a fairly soft beard. The shave cream and balm could do with a bit more fragrance and something better than just 'minty', however that's just personal. I do find the spacing of the blades does cause a little clogging up, but as for one reviewer saying 'completely clogs up and doesn't shave' well that's a bit of an exaggeration I think! I clean it through with an old toothbrush occasionally, that works a treat. Have amended the frequency of my order but it's goodbye G____e, although I did quite like W_S__d. Cornerstone from now on.”

“Signed up for the gift box with £10 off,and was absolutely delighted when it arrived.Beautifully packaged,and on using the items within,had the best and smoothest shave i've ever had.Top notch product,anyone looking for a christmas gift could do a lot worse than one of these.well done,cornerstone.”

“Bought the razor kit with the gel, great look and presentation. I shave daily and you can only use the razor once as it clogs up between the blades and won't rinse out even when done as shown in their videos. I tried using shaving foam and even just a wet shave and had exactly the same issue after just one shave with each blade as if you try to use it again it just glides over the face not shaving anything. I contacted the company last week and still haven't had a response to my issue. Seems they just want to shift the product and not care about customer satisfaction... Will not be recommending”

“Really appreciate the effort put in to the presentation, design and quality of their products and I really enjoyed using them. The pre-shave face scrub is proper nice to use and the shaving gel smells amazing!”

“Highly recommended: The Cornerstone blades are excellent and give a very close shave in fewer passes than the market leading brand, which I had been using for 17 years. I gave Corner stone a go on a friend's recommendation and have been very impressed. I hadn't previously been using a scrub but have found the Cornerstone one good and will continue using for now, their balm is also pretty good, giving a refreshing feel and smells very nice. The only Cornerstone product that I haven't been converted by is their shave cream: It's okay but not as good as the shaving soap I'm sticking with. Still, very glad I tried Cornerstone and am keeping my subscription.”

“Excellent quality product with a very classy touch. It gives a superb shave and i wouldn't use anything else now. The only reason i haven't given it a '5' is i miss the single blade on the back of my old razor that was good to the tricky to reach places. If it had one of those, it would be perfect!”

“Nice looking razor engraved etc, but the most important part is the blade an what type of shave you get, so the blades! The blades are not flexible enough, almost like the old fixed blade. Sometimes on a pass the blade just slides off the face not taking stubble with it. Yes cheaper than gillette fusion but not of the same quality. No edge trimmer either. I suppose you are buying a cheaper product so the quality of the blade is compromised. My membership is on hold.”

Sorry to hear that Saqib - we'd like to think we offer quality at a low price, but we do always listen to our member's feedback which is why we are currently working on a new razor. This will include a more flexible head, better blade spacing and a single trimming blade at the back for an even smoother shave.

“Arrived very fast which is great, I was blown away when I opened their package and saw how neat and professional Cornerstone is ( Didn't want to throw away the box hehe ). I shave every 3 days and I was excited to try for the first time today their shaving products, it comes with Shaving Gel ( which I chose instead of Shaving Cream, its up to you ) and Face-Scrub which they instruct you to use before adding the shaving gel, Smells wonderful. Picking up the Razor it truly shows a high quality product and also I had it engraved for free with three letters before ordering it from Cornerstone. The razor was very gentle and smooth when shaving. I was a pro Gillette fan, buying their latest products whenever they become available but not anymore after using Cornerstone. After shave Balm is great keeping my face nice and cool after a smooth shave and a great scent. Overall great products from Cornerstone THANK YOU!”

“It was the positive comments about the Cornerstone razor for those with sensitive skin led me to try it. First shave was impressed by the razor although handle took a bit of getting use to as it is more substantial than the branded razors. but once mastered it is does a fantastic job and the shaving balm iss great and soothing. Initially I still had quite red skin, but decided this might be due to it recovering from the effects of shaving with other razors- if you have really bad razor burn it is not an instant cure. However, after a few shaves the razor burn has lessened noticeably to being almost non-existent. My thinking is sharp blades, equals cleaner cut equals less irritation. So the more you use it the better it gets.”

“A really nice smooth shave - you hardly know you're shaving. Really good. My only little quibble is that I can't get at the annoying hairs in those little awkward places, like just under the nose - so I have to keep my old-fashioned DE razor handy for finishing up.”
