“A lot of the prices that come up in a search are not actually available in reality. I also had problems being able to purchase insurance at the price that came up in the search. £256 became £405. Waste of time.”

Tell you a quote then they ring you to “finalise” it and say we will ring you back in 20 min m, meanwhile you have paid the deposit, then they ring you back and tell you your insurance is about £300 more due to an issue they had then when you cancel change you £75! Stay away!!!”

“When did a windscreen claim become a claim that you have to notify your new insurance provider off?!?! This should be made much more apparent and you should have an option to exclude insurers or brokers that have this as a requirement. I don’t think any big underwriter has it as a requirement only brokers who use it as a tool to make money and you should be protecting your customers from this. I had to cancel a policy with an broker because of this and got charged for the privilege. Very unhappy customer! £55 poorer!”
“The quote I got online was £1452. When I phoned it turned into £2259. Answered same questions exactly the same. Confused is nothing better than a fishing scam !!!

“I made an amendment when I was doing a final check on details, as I realised there was an incorrect date. Then I put in my license number in and BANG price goes up £160!! - BTW I've a clean license. Needless to say my business has gone elsewhere”
