“Fairly easy to navigate online but still final quote was 300 more than originally quoted for no obvious reason. I’m retired now so that was taken off and I’m doing less mileage, I’ve had no claims in 3 yrs so how do they get it higher?”

We want to clarify that we are a comparison website and do not set the prices ourselves; these are set by our panel of insurers. Some common reasons why the price may have changed can be changes to the payment method (monthly vs annually), adding optional extras to the quote or upgrading the cover level to a higher option.
