“The insurance company selected use two names which in itself is initially confusing - ironic? They quoted subject to verification, then confirmed I had been accepted but subsequently advised they were cancelling the insurance over non verification of no claims discount. I had a long conversation with a member of staff, submitted proof of no claims (that they had not previously asked for) and then all was ok. Just hope I don't have to claim as I'm not sure how much faith I have in them. The rewards from Confused.com is something you have to follow up, whereas I had expected that Confused.com to contact me with the rewards. I submitted my claim on 18/1 and on 29/1 I am still waiting - they say on average it takes a few days but to allow 14 so they have still got 3 days left. Not the best of experiences to start with.”

“There is nothing really exceptional about the web site - prices are all over the place, some say they shall insure you for a certain price then when you go to do it its either changed, you have to put in more detail and it changes or on this occasion i wanted to change my address which was a nightmare and in the end they said they could not insure me, unusual for this site as i have always been satisfied in the passed”

“Except that confused has sent multiple emails to pick insurance since I already did, it's a great way to find affordable insurance each year, especially when the company you hope to renew with, assumes that you are happy to autorenew even though the cost has gone up inexplicably by 20%. I NEVER allow autorenewal on anything and I don't see why it's even legal.”
