“So far, my experience with Cobbler Union has not been great. It took nearly a year to receive my order. I ordered the Derby Dress Shoe, which looked nice, but the fit was poor. The back of the shoe is very wide and does not grip the heel whatsoever, so even though it is tied tight, the heel slips out of the shoe. The overall quality of the shoe appeared promising, but I cannot comment on its durability. I ordered the "return and exchange" insurance, but I now see that you can only return for store credit. I am going to exchange this shoe for a different one and hope the results are better both in fit and delivery time.”

“I've ordered 2 pairs recently. Both were shown as in stock. The first took 2 weeks to ship. It arrived with laces that were too short to tie. The product page indicates that 80cm laces are included, but actually they're 60cm. When I contacted CU, they said they don't have any of the flat 80cm laces so they sent a pair of round ones.
The 2nd pair shipped quickly but they sent the wrong model.
The CU online operation needs much, much improvement.”
