Placed a order. Asked to change day & told not possible, then told it was possible. Friend stayed in all day. It never turned up. Advised company the original date would not have anywhere safe to leave it, they still delivered it on that day & "left it with a neighbour". No details were left with my friend. So she had to go door knocking on flats. Nobody has claimed to have it. I've contacted the company 3 times to ask who they left it with & no reply. The hamper had cheeses that need to go in the fridge, so probably gone off now. 4 days later we still have no idea where the hamper is & will now have to chase a refund IF the company ever reply, as so far, every email sent has failed to get a reply. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!.

Not delivered on the day phone calls made from the USA, emails written one of the four ordered was dispatched on Saturday and not delivered until wednesday p.m. I will never use this company again. Even after several emails to customer service no apology just excuses. Delivery driver lied about attempting to deliver.5days in transit with perishable goods. Over £10 in phone calls and texts and the surprise taken away as I had to keep asking if the hampers had arrived. All in all a terrible experience.

Really disappointed with the two hampers I purchased. The wine and cheese one contained two types of cheese one small pack of oatcakes and half a bottle of wine. This cost £27.00 a total rip off I could of done the same for a fraction of the cost ie £10.00. The Highland Hamper wasn't much better. It contained six items in a plastic tray at a cost of £30.00 this again was a rip off I could of made up a better one myself for half the cost. I am now going to purchase goods myself to add to them as I would be to embarrassed to give these as presents. Would I recommend Hamper.Com to friends not likely. Managed to triplicate order. Despite 3 calls and 2 emails still sent 3 hampers to the same person! Absolutely dreadful service with no one taking responsibility or returning phone calls - AVOID

I have ordered a hamper as a present for my family at christmas for the last few years, usually using standard supermarkets, with which I have had no problem. However, I liked the idea of chosing my own this year, so used this company to creat my personalised hamper. However, on arrival it was missing two products, both of which were duplicate items, with no list of the ordered contents, thus if I had not been present the missing products will not have been necessarily noticed. After ringing the help line I was assured the missing products would be delivered the following week. On further inspection I realised the lemonade was leaking at the bottom of the basket, therefore soaking the bottom lining farbic and ruining the hamper, so again I rang the help line. I was then informed the previous call had not been logged, and that there was no indication that the missing products were being sent. They then again assured me the the missing products and the lemonade would be re-deleivered. The three products arrived the following week, containing the wrong lemonade. Although the second call was answered by an efficent employee, the overall service was appauling, with no compensation for the inconvenience and miss-leading information in the first phone conversation.

I am not expecting this review to be published. If you are thinking of using this company DONT after ordering a hamper 2 months before required delivery for Christmas it never arrived, my 86 year old Mother did not get her Christmas present as a result. I feel let down and disappointed with the level of service. I sincerely hope my refund will arrive! I wont be using Hamper.com again

We are extremely sorry for the bad service you experienced with us. I can see the order was indeed created and passed to the warehouse but something has gone wrong somewhere along the line. The refund was processed on 19/12. Huge apologies once again for the inconvenience caused. Kind regards from all at hamper.com

I was really disappointed with the customer service and delivery, I wanted a hamper sent to my daughter in Australia , it was supposed to be delivered on Monday , I had to ask my daughter if she had anything delivered so I spoilt the surprise, when I phoned customer service they were not in the least sympathetic, they just said it was on the van and would email them and get back to me. They never got back to me I had to phone them, again they said they would email them and phone me back once again they didn't , they just kept giving me the excuse about the difference in time but not once did they apologise, and not once have they emailed me or phoned me back, I do understand this is a very busy period but they really do need to look into their customer service Debbie

We are so sorry to learn of your experience Debbie. While we do of course endeavour to deliver on the day requested, we do state that it is a preferred delivery date, especially in December as the couriers freight increases vastly. As this was for fulfillment in Australia, this was handled by our partner and as such we are not so in control of the dispatch and delivery of the hampers. The time difference does make it difficult to make contact to query orders but our team should have updated you even if they had no further info. We are therefore sorry for this, sadly we do have to reply on temps to assist us over the Christmas season and they are not always as efficient as our usual team of helpful elves. We are again very sorry for the inconvenience caused. From all at hamper.com

The Gift Basket was a very big disappointment to the people who received it, I was told the display was beautiful but the contents were very disappointing and it was a few little things in a big box of straw....For that reason I would not place an order with you again!

Hi Magda, We do apologise that your Mother missed the gift message. It is printed on the underneath of the delivery label under 'lift here for gift message.' We have had feedback from a few of our customers regarding this, so have actually just implemented an additional gift card to go inside the box. This should hopefully resolve any future issues. I rate the purchase as very poor only because there wasn't a hamper for the occasion I needed - bereavement ("sincerest condolences"). I had to settle for something else so I purchase this particular hamper as a last resort. I've been a registered customer for several years now and I purchase at least 3 hampers/year. I found it incredulous that there is not a hamper for this occasion. I have no idea (and didn't have time) to try and create a hamper and wanted to rely on the convenience of a ready-made one.

Prompt delivery but down hill from there. I have called hamper.com on two occasions now as I was not satisfied with the cheese, biscuit and wine hamper. I was told both times that the customer service manager was going to call me back, but to no avail. I am now left £40 worse off and with cheese and biscuits which are not fit for consumption.

My daughter is at University in London. I ordered a "create your own" hamper and many of the items requested were not in the hamper when it arrived for her long Easter weekend. I had added fruit, croissants and bottle beverages all of which were not included in the hamper. If I had wanted a "Generic" hamper I would have picked one. I understand at times there needs to be substitutions but there was not even an attempt to make substitutions. The hamper consisted of some meats and candies. A very, very, disappointed customer! Ann

the hamper has not been delivered or it has been sent to the wronge address I have spoken with Pam Gent and she has received nothing yet I have an email letting me know that it has been signed for by a person call John ? THERE IS NO ONE BY THAT NAME WHO LIVES AT THAT ADDRESS. ORDER NUMBER IS 362169

I am another extremely disappointed customer with the service received from Hampers.Com. I have used this company with great ease and efficiency for the last two years to send a Hamper to my elderly aunt, but this years experience has been a total nightmare.... Two days after completing my order,I received an email stating I had not completed the transaction - to which I supplied my Paypal receipt. The next email I received was asking me to confirming the delivery details supplied - were not my aunts, but the complete name and address of another person - no connection to me... More emails, the last stating "The parcel has left us and has arrived at the delivery depot." one day prior to my requested delivery date, but I am still waiting to establish if it was delivered - there are no details of the entire transaction on the website Ahhhhhh....

Hi Ray, Im not sure how we can respond to your review, except to prove it obviously is not true as yours is on here! Reviews.co.uk are an independent website and we can only post replies to verfied reviews that they will publish, whether thats 1 or 5 star they all go on here. We are currently experiencing a high number of 5 star reviews, as I guess people appreciate the hard work in not letting them down this Christmas. This is something we work hard all year to achieve. Currently 81% of our reviews are 5 star and the remaining are made up of 4 stars and below, see pie chart at the top of the page. Of course we don't always get it right and people will leave a review based on their experience, but to leave a 1 star review, simply because there is to many five star reviews does not really help anyone.

Dear Sir/ Madam I am writing with regard to the above order number which I ordered on September 30th for delivery on Friday 3rd October. The hamper was not delivered until yesterday, Tuesday 6th which is so disappointing. Had I ordered the day before I could begin to understand the delayed delivery but not with three days notice. Not one day late either but three days late which is unacceptable. If there is a possibility of that kind of delay I think that you owe it to your customer to communicate when the order has been placed and offer an alternative that could be delivered on time. I look forward to receiving your response This is the e-mail I sent 2 days ago. Now what's another disappointment is that i haven't received a reply but i have received your automated request for a review.....

Missed the target delivery date by Two working days and I had to chase to find out what was going on. No note left on failed delivery attempt. And worse still there was no indication or message with the hamper so mum had no idea who sent it despite me filling one in with the order. I won't be using this outfit again.
