“I was disappointed that the products are advertised at pre-VAT amounts. Being a first time buyer of car detailing products I don't know whether this is common but just seemed a bit annoying to have the additional amount added AFTER I'd decided what I wanted to buy and a price I was happy to pay. Also the postage I felt was quite high considering some other sites do free UK postage. However! The service I received post purchase was second to none. You use a top notch delivery service. I liked how I could track my order at all times. The email updates were also consistent and helpful in checking progress of my order. I'm also a big fan of the incentive to repeat buy with your loyalty points system. Also the reviews really helped me pick the products I thought were most suitable and it's clear you have a massive customer base. Overall - 4 stars, I will definitely be returning!”

“After having searched the internet for the best deal for a DA Polisher, I finally settled (after some help from the DW community) on the DAS6 Pro from Clean Your Car. Having ordered with the free delivery option, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my order had been processed very quickly and had been dispatched way in advance of the 3-5 working day delivery timescale. The order was tracked by DPD and delivered in a well packaged box. All in all I am very pleased, and I will be using the 'CYC' website again!”

“Took delivery of Sonax Nano Spray and the Carlack 68 twin sealant kit today. Delivery is always pretty good with CYC and a couple of days from order is pretty good. Disappointingly, whilst the Sonax kit was advertised as including two applicator pads, only one was included and no instructions were there. There are instructions on the product ad' but I'd expect them to one with the products to be honest. The Sonax nano protect spray was easy to apply and deepened the gloss finish appreciably. be aware though that the slightest particle on your microfibre cloths can still scratch the surface as you buff the product off, so only light buffing strokes are advised and check your cloths before you use them. I normally use a stack for polishing work and put each one into the wash pile after buffing a single panel with them, taking a fresh one for the next panel just to avoid mishaps. The Carlack products are first class and even after all these years are up there with far more expensive sealants. Highly recommmended and can be applied over the Sonax product for extra protection. I would have given 5 stars to CYC but due to the lack of an applicator and instructions, have dropped them a star.”

“It's often said that simple things work best, in this case ... true. I always keep my car black and shiny but the dirty wheel bolt apertures has always annoyed me. I had to spray each bolt hole with Mr Muscle Kitchen Cleaner ( honestly ) it was all I had. Left them to soak and washed the rest of the car, then came back to the bolt holes. I found it a bit fiddly to get in around the bolts but being wet helped. Then twisting it back and forth a few times and clean wheels at last, after 9 years. Cheap, cheerful and works ... delivery was prompt so all good...”

“To all at CYC, gotta say what a really good service you give, ordered snow lance & Meguiars Hyper wash (both fantastic), delivered in a couple of days, very well packaged. Lance is a hoot to use (first timer), Hyper Wash VERY CONCENTRATED, be careful how much you use, had snow on the ground for about three days after, did a brilliant job, foamed it then left for ten minutes, jet washed it, foamed it again and used a micro-fibre sponge which never left the cars body work, that way, I won't be picking up any grit from a bucket, then a final jet wash, clean or what, great fun to use. Will be using CYC again, very good company, thanks to all. P.S. Hand written comp slips and sweets a nice touch. pete”

“This is a great site and backed up by excellent service from Tim. Appreciate the handwritten compliment slips with each order. Nice customer service touch. I've purchased a fair bit incl DAS Pro 6 dual action polisher and various Sonax, Dodo products. I'm not a real detailer per se but like our cars to look good and I'm getting more into it. They look very good but are all used and not show cars. New Sonax high speed wax is brilliant on a weekly basis. My cars that I've worked on thus far have been clayed and compounded (Meguiars) and polished (Menzerna). Wax is Victoria Concours and it’s superb with hand application. Pot will last a long time and protection/shine is great. Wash weekly with Dodo born to be mild. A little goes a long way and great foam. Paint is well protected and beads very nicely. Not much sticks to it. Sonax gel for the alloys. Also very good. DAS 6 was the Menzerna kit. Including cut, polish, fine polish mitts. Great machine but tested it on the Transit first to ensure my 'skills' didn't damaged anything valuable. Very shiny '03 Transit as a result! Audi ur quattro turbo (10V WR) was restored some time ago and has beautiful paint. However it is Tornado red and needs a lot of protection for UV damage etc. It's had the same treatment now with all this kit and sparkles for something made in 1986. 73 MK1 Escort RS is next on the list but that will be more of a challenge. Restored in '93 and in need of Sonax et al. Thanks Tim. I'll be back.”
