Massive thanks to all the really lovely and helpful people at Claytons!
Mick was really great when I visited Claytons to look at choices. He was very helpful and supportive and did not try to upsell: indeed, the first carpet he showed me was from a cheaper range from the one I ended up buying from. He was really listening to me and understood my circumstances, which were quite awkward at the time, and he made the visit a really nice experience. We quickly narrowed it down to one particular carpet and two designs and I took a sample of each home to decide which we would go for.
Andy came along to measure up and he was such a great ambassador for Claytons. He gave some lovely advice and also did not try to upsell, saying that the door bars and grippers were absolutely fine and did not require replacement. He was so thorough, polite and professional, and his visit was a real pleasure.
When I went in to place the order it was once again a lovely experience.
There were some concerns about the poor fitting of the original carpet and Mark talked me through the fitting and made me feel very relaxed about the visit for fitting on the 9th.
Malc called ahead on the morning of fitting, as requested, and it was obvious that he was taking great care and paying quite some attention to detail. It was absolutely clear that he took much pride in the fitting and was not just rushing to get in and out. It turned out that Transformer by Lou Reed was one of his all time favourites and he thanked me for the 'entertainment'.
Mary and I really like the final result and the whole experience, together with such a lovely product, has been so nice to enjoy.
The lovely people at Claytons have not only helped in providing a lovely product but have really helped me during what has been a bit of a difficult time. Once again, thank you so much!
