About Chococo:

We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

Sorry you found this so irritating. We do pre-warn you about the branded box when we send despatch information so you can get to the front door first if it is a surprise! It's also mentioned in our FAQ's. We took advice from our business mentors, who have vast experience of managing online businesses, who recommended that our boxes should be branded to show pride in our brand and this is in line with many other premium businesses, especially in the food and drink sector, who have branded boxes.

“The chocolate itself was absolutely gorgeous. The children loved them but I did feel that the indents in the faces, eyes, nose and mouth could have had some colour in them, they looked a bit blank and could have had a bit of edible paint highlighting the features. I would have done this myself but didn't want to spoil it for the girls opening the boxes and I didn't have the appropriate paint. Otherwise they were lovely.”

Thank you, it's great to hear that your children loved our pumpkins with spiders inside. The pumpkins are dusted with edible shimmer to help the features stand out, and they'd be pricier if we had to hand paint the features in.

“I consider myself a chocolate aficionado . . I have eaten a great deal of them in my time . . and Chococo are without question the finest and most joyful chocolates I have ever come across . . .They literally bring me joy. I regularly send them to friends and family for birthdays etc. or for just sending a bit of joy along to someone who needs it . . my niece is vegan and loved the vegan chocs I sent too. The flavours are divine and adventurous, the actual chocolate is wonderful . . .and the customer service is friendly and first rate. In the heatwave this year, they took the time to ring me to make sure I wanted to go ahead with my order, as they were concerned about the chocolates melting! Wonderful people . . I cannot fault them or their amazing product . Xx”

“Should support different delivery companies don't like that I pay for next day and it can't be achieved. Some items weren't individually packed I guess I skim read and misread it was a suggestion. Maybe leave suggestions off the description to avoid confusion. The chocolate boxes were great but really hard to get the chocolate out. Some caramel ones broken in the box due it being difficult to take out. That was feedback from all that took from the box. I guess moods change when it is frustrating to take out. :) Chocolates are nice by the way but not my mood.”

Sorry for your frustration. We don't actually offer a next day delivery service at the moment; you selected 1st class 'ships next working day' service and as you ordered on a Friday evening, we shipped it on the Monday, so we did as we promised. We're not sure what you mean about items being individually packed as each item has its own packaging, then the full order is shipped in one box to your door. With regard to extracting your chocs from the box, there's a handy hint on the menu card suggesting you remove the cardboard grid if you find it difficult and there's also an FAQ about it on our website. The grid is there to help stop the chocs from moving in transit.

“Inventive and exciting chocolates. Lovely crisp shells. Particularly liked the jelly centres! Personally would have preferred more milk chocolates in the box as most were dark but I'll know next time!”
