We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“I bought a small box of my favourites (turkish delight in dark chocolate, dipped orange segments, some chocolate drops for hot chocolate and/or stuffing into croissants). I also treated myself to a milk chocolate Easter egg with honeycomb. I am afraid this was disastrous because I had to eat half of that at one sitting and now the other half wants to join it. It is only the second week in March. I may need a replacement.”

“I bought the small egg with dinosaur pieces and the large egg with dinosaur pieces. The small egg was fine but the large egg arrived completely smashed to bits. It was a present for my husband so that was a bit sad, but we managed to piece it back together with chocolate and that was a fun activity. However, on balance I wouldn't buy an egg from here again as there's too much risk with them being smashed. I appreciate them being plastic free, that was a positive from the brand itself, but perhaps a cardboard holder for the egg might be needed. The eggs were well wrapped though, can't fault the packaging. Perhaps the dinosaurs stuck inside the egg somehow damage the structural integrity?”

Dear Catherine, We are sorry to hear that the giant egg was broken but we are also a bit confused as to why you didn't contact us to let us know, as we can fix the problem and send a replacement out for you! I have alerted Katharine our Customer Care Manager, so look out for an email from her to follow up with you directly. We are confident that our plastic-free packaging is strong enough for our eggs as we conducted postal tests before launch and since then have posted c5,000 eggs so far and have only had a TINY number of damaged ones. Whilst they leave us in perfect condition, we have no control over how well they are handled in transit and at the end of the day, an egg is an inherently fragile item, so this can happen. We are a small business but are here ready to talk to our customers if they have any problems and encourage all our customers to contact us directly on info@chococo.co.uk in all our confirmation emails and website. “This is the second time I’ve used Chococo recently. I’m pleased to be able to buy products without any plastic packaging. My son & daughter-in-law are looking forward to eating their delicious looking Easter eggs in 2 weeks. Delivery was very prompt with no problems.”

“Order Easter eggs which are here waiting...But also ordered chocolates which were just wonderful. Full of lovely flavours and the chocolate taste was simply one of the best tastes exp[erienced. High end chocolates; not cheap but so worth the money.”

Dear Barbara, Thank you for your review but please don't worry - your eggs are not going to go stale between now & Easter as they do not contain any fresh cream chocolates. We are a little confused by your feedback to be honest as we clearly state on our website which of our products need to be eaten quickly as they contain chocolates made with fresh ingredients and therefore have a short shelf life (ie: our selection boxes), but none of our Easter range contain any such chocolates. This means that they can be delivered promptly to ensure they arrive safely and be enjoyed several months after Easter if preferred (not that many last that long!). Whilst they do not contain fresh cream chocolates, they are actually freshly made (& made a lot more recently than most commercial Easter eggs which will have been made months ago). All you have to do is keep your eggs somewhere away from direct heat, sunlight or strong odours and they will taste wonderful. We hope you enjoy them! Best regards, Claire Burnet co-founder

“i haven't tried the choc yet but the eggs all arrived beautifully packed - it is really nice to find a supplier who does not use plastic packaging. I brought these as gifts for my team and it was nice to have a vegan option so everyone had the same. The only issue i had was with the delivery but that was due to Royal Mail and not the company”
