About Chococo:

We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“I placed the order for 2 boxes of 25 Chococo in the first week of December. I had read on the website "somewhere" that these were cream chocolate, they had a short shelf life. However, I was very disappointed to receive the order with 22nd December as sell-by date. These were Christmas presents and I had the embarrassement to tell the recipients to consume as soon as possible. This date should have been highlighted on the order page and I would have waited for a few days before ordering.”

All our fresh chocolates have several clear messages their individual product pages showing the Eat By date, that they contain fresh ingredients and that they need to be eaten quickly. The message is repeated in various forms to make it as obvious as possible, so we're sorry if you missed these and for any embarrassment. To order in advance to gift at a later date, you don't need to wait to order, simply need to select our 1st Class Preferred delivery option as you go through checkout and we'll despatch later using the freshest chocolates.

“First time user (normally Hotel Chocolat). Love the taste and that the chocolates were in the same order as the guide making it easier to locate. One minor area to improve it was difficult to remove the individual chocolate from the box as they were packed very close. Will definitely order from you in the future. Happy New Year! David Amos”

Thanks so much for your review and welcome to the Chococo family! If you have any difficulty extracting the chocolates from the box, simply unslot the cardboard grids holding them in place. Now you're a Chococo pro!

“Chococo chocolate is usually really lovely and enjoyable to eat. However, this year I purchased the reef and was really disappointed. The reef looks really pretty and would make a stunning centrepiece. However the eating experience was not as expected. It was difficult to cut to portion, difficult to eat in as much as cutting into it on the plate wasn't possible without it shattering. Picking it up and biting it was equally difficult. It felt like the content was lacking some moist components, dried fruit for example. Really dissapointed as previous purchases from Chococo have been a delight.”
