About Chococo:

We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.
We believe truly fresh chocolates taste better & our customers & food experts agree, as we have won over 70 fine food awards over the years for our creations including most recently, 3 World medals at the International Chocolate Awards...enjoy!

“I bought a box of the festive collection of chocolates for Mum for her Christmas birthday. She took them home with her (so she couldn't share - Boo!) and has just phoned to say she ate five last night. She couldn't stop once she'd started and says they are utterly delicious with such unusual fillings. I think we'll be back for more!”

“My order was scheduled for delivery on Dec.20th,when it had not appeared on Dec.22nd I phoned the company,who eventually informed me that the parcel was probably held up in a Royal Mail sorting office,and as I would not now receive my order before Xmas(It was a gift!) they would replace my order with another and send it by Royal Mail 24 hr.Tracking system. The new order arrived on Dec.24th in time for Xmas for which I was very grateful. On Dec.29th I received a card from Royal Mail informing me that they have a parcel for me which cannot be delivered because the sender has not paid the postage. I assumed it was the missing Chococo order and paid £3.50 to have it delivered,which has happened today Jan.5th. However,there was only 1 box(I had ordered 2 originally!),so I am now confused as to whether the order was not carried out as I assumed it would be,or someone at the Royal Mail sorting office has decided that they fancied 1 of the boxes for themself! Either way,the experience has left me wondering about whether I would use this company again. A bit disillusioned!!”

Oh no, what a shame, we are sorry you feel like this. Sadly, very occasionally, once one thing goes wrong, everything seems to go wrong (perhaps especially in the last posting days before Christmas)! If you'd contacted our Customer Care team to let us know about the missing postage, we would have had the chance to reimburse you and say sorry properly.

“Easily the most delicious and decadent Advent Calendar I've ever had! Beautifully presented in a custom box, each chocolate was a joy both in taste and looks. There was a lovely range of flavours too which kept me interested.”

“Whilst I very much enjoy Chococo chocolate, I was disappointed that you seem to have discontinued the large dark selection. In the absence of this, I bought the vegan dark selection and it was really not up to the standard I would have expected. Overly sweet and just didn't feel special. Would I order again? Hmm, mot sure.”

Thank you for your feedback on our vegan festive selection, and sorry to hear that it wasn't to your taste. We worked hard to develop an exciting and unusual vegan festive selection of 25 different Christmassy flavours that was enjoyed by vegans & non-vegans alike. We discontinued our large dark fresh selection boxes simply to ensure that our boxes always contained a good selection of ever-changing flavours and to avoid duplications, but as we increase our plant-based range, we may be able to bring it back.

“I ordered boxes of fresh chocolates and festive selection online. There was a good choice in each box and they were much appreciated by friends over Christmas and the New Year. Much less sweet than some other makes (mentioning no high street names) with some very creative flavours. My only slight disappointment was that the fresh chocolate box specified "no nuts", not even marzipan, but the deliciousness of the chocolates more than compensated.”

“The chocolates arrived in good condition and on time. They were a gift so the festive box was a plus. The beautifully made chocs are laid out the same as the menu is printed, so it's very easy to locate which one to choose. It goes without saying that they were delicious.”

“Fairly disappointing to be sent a booklet showing what you could have received in your selection but didn’t. The packaging is rubbish. It’s near on impossible to navigate dislodging a chocolate from its deep enclosure without the assistance of a toothpick or knife or brute force. Once retrieved the chocolates are of another level. I’m not sure if that’s in a good way though. Mostly dark and bitter. These are serious chocolates. They mean business. Not the kind you’d want more than two of too quickly and that’s the so close but no cigar bit.”

Oh dear! We do explain on our menus that it lists all our current flavours, so shows more than we can fit in your box. Winter 2021 had 44 different chocolates - hard to fit into a box of 24! Flavours are rotated regularly so chocolates are always fresh and so boxes can continually be exciting and different, even if you have them regularly. We also suggest on our menu that if you have any difficulty extracting our chocolates, you can lift out the cardboard grid dividers. Our packaging is plastic-free, planet-friendly and recyclable; we'd rather it wasn't rubbish. And we don't mind our chocolates being called serious, although our many Chococo fans might consider them more fun, creative and adventurous. But it is all a matter of taste at the end of the day.
