We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

Thank you, we're so pleased you enjoyed the flavours and presentation. Clever her indeed! We recommend that you wrap the box in clingfilm, or some kind of wrapping, to keep moisture down & to defrost the box slowly. The chocolates will lose their shine, and some may go a bit 'tacky' to touch but they will taste fine. Co-founder Claire's mum has been the chief tester for freezing Chococo chocolates as she spent many years living in the tropics and is a big fan of freezing things to extend shelf lives!

Oh no, sorry to hear this. We've been making our chocolate robots for years and they usually go down very well indeed! Hopefully the recipients of everything else in your order loved their chocolate and we can put this down to a matter of personal taste (or smell)

“Great chocolates, always liked. Efficient delivery. Only downside is the insistence on using branded packaging for delivery and that attempt to have delivery changed to collect at post office failed. I think that Chococo should reconsider the use of branded delivery packaging: annoys many customers and of doubtful marketing benefit IMO.”

Thank you, we're so glad that you keep coming back for more. Sorry about our packaging annoying you though and please be assured that we appreciate your feedback. Our business mentors recommended that our boxes should be branded to show pride in our brand. This is in line with many other premium businesses, especially in the food and drink sector. We make it clear on our "Chocs Away" email that the order will be packed in a branded box so that you can get to the door first if it's a surprise, and the information is also included in the FAQ's on our website. Whatever type of box your order is packed in - branded or unbranded - it will always have a Royal Mail tracking label on which includes our return address, so all it would take is one look at the label to see the box is from Chococo, and there's no way to avoid this. When you place your order, you can always request delivery to a different address - neighbour, friend, work address etc - and we can also change the delivery address up to the day before your order leaves us, and sometimes even on the day of despatch. There are also options with delivery once you have the Royal Mail tracking number as you can change your delivery options on Track & Trace using the Update Delivery Options button, but sorry if that option didn't work for you this time. We appreciate your feedback on this matter and we will take it on board.

“Had first tried Chococo hot chocolate in Swanage. It was one of the nicest hot chocolates I had ever had. Decided to treat all the family to a different type for Christmas. They come in attractive tins and were well packaged and arrived in good time. Everyone was pleased with their gift. I recommend people get a milk frothier. Doesn't have to be a fancy one. Just a battery one will do and make the chocolate frothy and creamy. Yummmmm”

Thanks for loving our packaging but sorry to hear that our chocolate wasn't to your taste. We have to beg to differ though, our chocolate is something special! It's single-origin, slave-free, ethical, plastic-free, we care about the taste of our finished chocolates, we also care about the bigger picture - about the provenance of our ingredients, whether local or global, and about the people who produce them, they're hand-crafted, hand-decorated and hand-packed, all of which makes it pretty special, but that's just our opinion 😊️

“Absolutely excellent chocolates again this year - has become my go to chocolaterie as seems to the be the only one that does dark vegan chocolate & also adds alchohol. The Pedro n prune one's delicious and was so happy to see the champagne one this year as I miss those! Love the rum one & all of then to be honest - already looking forward to my 2024 advent calendar! I'd also love to buy more of my faves in boxes (like you did with the rum gems) to enjoy more of. Delivery & ordering were all easy & efficient too. Happy new year!”
