We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“Really good but unbelievable that you won’t take an order for collection. Ordered an Easter treat for my parents who live less than half a mile away from your shop. I asked to pay and they collect but you said no and instead you gave me free delivery. Please consider your carbon footprint! That is ridiculous!”

Sorry, but our HQ that deals with online and telephone orders is separate from our shops (of which we have 4). Sadly we simply don't have the technology, resources or demand to manage stock and orders for pickup from our shops.

Sorry to hear this. If you'd contacted us we could have had a look into it for you and sent you some replacements. It sounds like it may have been an error on the Best Before label as we can assure you that chocolate doesn't hang around here for long!

“Please seek alternative packaging for your Easter eggs, mine arrived completely smashed and not in an egg shape at all. Considering I spent £30 on one product I am a little disappointed. I understand that it wasn’t your fault and that deliverers are very heavy handed but maybe some fragile stickers might help”

Oh no! We wish you'd let us know about this and we could have put things right for you. We have used our plastic-free packaging format now for a couple of years with only a tiny number of issues which are more to do with how the eggs are handled in transit rather than the fault of the packaging, but we agree that some Fragile marking on the outer boxes is a great idea. We do hope that the chocolate was still a pleasure to eat despite its less-than-perfect appearance.

“The chocolate is delicious, it’s so smooth. Sadly, the egg was totally shattered, which was a huge shame. Not just a little bit.. the whole egg was in very small pieces. Seems like it had been bashed around a lot during transit. Not good considering the price of the egg :(”

It's such a shame to see our lovely eggs like this 😢️ but we guess this review must have been posted before contacting us about the damage. Once we'd been informed about it, you were very satisfied with the resolution and support that we provided, saying you'd order from us again as 'the chocolate is so good (broken or whole!)'

“I purchased as a gift for my mother, as I've always enjoyed Chococo products and packaging. Clearly her tastes differ from mine though, as she wasn't impressed. She told me that although the various different flavours all sounded very interesting she couldn't actually tell the difference between them. She ate them all and was grateful, but asked me not to buy them for her again in future. Oh well, you can't please everyone!”
