We have been crafting fine chocolates in Dorset since 2002 with origin chocolate & local, seasonal ingredients (& no additives, preservatives or added sugar), so they are truly handmade, handpacked & delivered fresh.

“The recipients of the chocolate selections I have sent have loved them. However, on the last 2 I sent, the gift cards I had filled out were omitted so the recipients did not know who sent them! I like the fact that a portion of the cost goes to the endangered orangutans.”

“After seeing Maddie Moate's YouTube video at your factory, I ordered Easter eggs from you which arrived perfectly in time. It was like giving a proper gift to my family members at Easter, instead of filling up on poor quality chocolate. Everyone loved their Ocean eggs. We've now decided that Chococo eggs will become an Easter tradition in our family!”

“The chocolate arrived in time for Easter. It was pretty and different. The flavour of the chocolate was lacking though. Dark chocolate needed more bitterness.”

Thank you, we're pleased it all went well and looked good. Our house dark chocolate has flavour notes of earthy raisin and a hint of mellow coffee, but its natural bitterness is offset in the Dark Chocolate Agave Honeycombe Studded Easter Egg by the sweetness of the agave honeycombe chunks.

“Overpriced for very average chocolate. I'm sorry to say I was caught in your net via Instagram advertising and while I love your cause and the small business feel, the efforts towards sustainability and good causes, I was disappointed by the product. Egg was very small and flavours were average, all for what I would consider a high price point”

Sorry to hear that you thought the flavours of our chocolate were average, but that's purely a question of personal taste. We would say, however, that the eggs were the same size as we showed on the website - size and weight of all the eggs are provided, along with the box height, so there shouldn't have been any surprises.

“Chocolate phenomenal! Only slight disappointment was that eggs were damaged (still edible) as no protective case on them. Otherwise spot on. Had ordered for next day delivery but came a day after - understandable in week running up to Easter.”

Thank you so much, we are thrilled that the chocolate was still a pleasure to eat despite its less-than-perfect appearance. Sorry that your eggs arrived damaged. We've used our plastic-free packaging format now for a couple of years with only a tiny number of issues which are more to do with how the eggs are handled in transit rather than the fault of the packaging. Sorry too for Royal Mail's tardy arrival.

“Chocolate is great quality, really tasty. Their products look amazing and really unique. I had a slight error in that one of my items wasn't sent with the rest of my order, but customer service was great and this was rectified the next working day and the item was sent out immediately. In the immortal words of Arnie, I'll be back.”
