“I'm very pleased with the finished product. However, the blurb clearly states the Eaton coffee table arrives fully assembled, the main reason I ordered it, but it doesn't. I had to assemble it myself which to be fair was a very simple and straightforward job, I'm just thankful I didn't order the table with drawers! Chiltern Oak Furniture you should make it clear whether an item actually does arrive ready assembled.”

“Ordered two bedside tables Opened the first box and was delighted with the product. However Second box was the wrong colour Customer service went down hill from there long story short I was Messed around for 2 weeks waiting for collection and replacement only to be sent replacement with a large chip to the lattice of the unit very disappointing. Was frustrating trying to sort out the issue told multiple different things that I couldn’t be bothered to return again only offer chillerton oak made to us was a miserly 5% off another item. That they stated was a “gesture of goodwill” That’s how much they value their customers. :/”

“Ordered a few items for the lounge, unfortunately they weren't white as advertised but a creamy colour instead. Keeping the items as it would of been to much hassle to pack and send back”

“I chose a single pantry cupboard and a small sideboard. It was delivered when they said it would be and the delivery men kept me in the loop regarding tine scales etc. they didn’t take the furniture out of the boxes for me which made it quite difficult for me to do myself on my own. I do like the furniture and it certainly looks the part, however, the pantry door is slightly twisted so doesn’t connect to the bottom magnet in the door frame and the small sideboard has a similar issue with the door magnets and the frame. It is a bit of a nuisance but doesn’t stop me using the furniture but that is why I am only awarding 3 stars”

“The quality of items are good....unfortunately their delivery side of things is poor. Ordered 2 items, both were in stock when ordered. Received 1 item yet still waiting for 2nd item. Will be 3 weeks from ordering yet still no item. Email response was should be dispatching next week! To be honest if I had known there would be a long delay between the 2 items I would not of ordered them in the first place.”

“Nice and neat looking and quick delivery but the item is pretty expensive for what it is as wood is very cheap looking and not the best quality.”

“Very nice looking sideboard, but thats where it ends .the wood used is quite thin and rough in places , the drawers are not on runners so cant put to much in them or they'll be to heavy to open , and the cupboards are tiny inside .no way near the money paid .”

“I bought a Banbury wardrobe about a year ago. While the product looks lovely and is well finished, it is not deep enough for wooden coat hangers with clothes on them. The amount of times I have had to manipulate the hangers to try to get the doors to close is now frustrating. My wardrobe is not over-filled either, as I have other wardrobes too so am well spread. 1 or 2cm deeper is all it needs. Be careful what coat hangers are used perhaps, maybe the plastic ones are smaller, however many of us are avoiding purchasing plastic these days, and the plastic ones don't hang clothes as well as the wooden ones do. Otherwise I love the products and would definitely buy Chiltern again, just checking dimensions more carefully.”

“The hallway shoe bench is a nice looking piece of furniture for the price. Unfortunately, unless you’re looking to store children’s shoes in it.. you’ll need to look elsewhere for something bigger”

“Ordered the tables to match grey furniture in the room.quality of table is very good but no way is it grey !,On the box it says truffle colour definitely not grey !”

“Lovely dressing table, mirror and stool. The quality of the wood is great, however it was let down by the very very poor quality fittings. Luckily my husband is an engineer and if he hadn’t re-engineered the fittings, it would have fallen apart within a week.”

“Good value for money and looks nice if the doors were actually square. There are gaps around the doors as they are not square which is really disappointing”

“I was disappointed with my larder, it’s said it was grey. I would say it was more green than grey. One of the doors didn’t close properly. My son in law sorted that out for me as it was to much of a hassle to send it back.”

“Delivery was fine Not thrilled with the quality, the door doesn’t fit well and is pushed out at the bottom and the paint finish is poor in places.”

“Chiltern Oak delivered the unit on time and we’re very professional and would use them again. The unit itself is not perfect and one drawer protrudes out which does affect the finished look.”

“They have lovely furniture and we are happy with our order. However, at the first delivery, unfortunately, one of the chairs was damaged. We were able to arrange a prompt exchange, although they could only swap out two chairs at the time so I repacked the damaged one and an undamaged one. The new chairs arrived on time, however, upon unpacking I spotted very small faults on both. We will settle with what we have now, but perhaps with the amount of money paid, very close attention should be paid to quality assurance.”
