“The jacket was slightly shorter than I expected but after wearing a few times, this was not an issue. The delivery timing was excellent considering it was ordered less than six days before Christmas. The coat itself is great, fits well, (I choose a large size) although Barbour shooting jackets can be oversized this one fits well. Very warm and a nice colour.”

“Good quality and warm quilted jacket, just the right size and not too long in the arms, a perfect fit. I have reserved one point because the hidden hood doesn't match the rest of the coat, and is more of a Kagool type hood, but i have another Barbour and i am not planning on using my new one in storms too often, otherwise, five stars!”

“I ordered the Sapper Barbour Jacket on one day and it arrived the next, very good delivery service. Unfortunately the jacket was too small so i had to return it, the process for returning the jacket was simple and straightforward with a returns bag with a postage paid label already attached and a short form to complete. All I had to do was go to the local post office and drop it off. So far it has been good service, it was just shame the jacket didn't fit.”

“I was a little disappointed at the choice of packaging used to send the Barbour jacket. In my opinion, when paying £200 for a coat it should be boxed to help protect it and to save it being folded and all crushed on arrival. Especially given wax jackets bear marks and scars, therefore better boxed flat. Great product though at a good price.”

Dear Sharon, Thank you very much for your comments in respect of the packaging of the Barbour Jacket that you kindly purchased from us. I fully understand what you mean. The jackets are sent to us packaged in that way by Barbour who tell us it's the best way of parcelling them, because as they are as you say a waxed garment and need to be tightly packaged to stop them drying out. I'm sorry that on first inspection the Jacket did not look it's best. I appreciate your comments which I have forwarded on the Barbour Sales Department.
