It has been hit and miss in terms of quality applicants. Over the past year, we have placed 4 adverts and two (repeated) have received very good candidates and two have not. It may be the time of the year the ads have been placed.

It did not give me the chance to reply directly to the applicant and copying the cover letters were way time consuming. I would rather prefer to receive the application on my email and directly reply back to the candidate and receive both CV and letter attached.

It has been ok. Most of the applicants we got through Charity Job applications were not suitable for the job however, and many had no relevant experience and did not submit a cover lette.r

Easy enough to post but poor number and quality of candidates didn't justify the cost

Would rate 'Good' in terms of using the site and customer support offered. However, this time (June 2021) we had to chase a response from our dedicated account manager with regards to a change to to the advert. So, this time round, we're rating it 'adequate'. When I finally managed to speak to someone, their service was very good.

It brought in the applicants, but it was a really horrible site to use for setting up the ad. I had great difficulty in seeing how to progress to the next stage, how to save or edit what I had written and how to post it when I was done. The closing date was 11th April. I set it not to show the ad from 12th and it posted 12th instead of 11th as the deadline, which caused grief with a late applicant. It kept deleting my £100-off code. I really hated the experience of using it.

Hi Stephanie, It’s great to hear that your ad successfully attracted the candidates you were hoping for, but very disappointing that you did have a good overall experience when using our website, so I have asked your account manager to contact you to discuss how we may improve things moving forward. When listing vacancies on our website you are given the option to select a specific closing date and time, the ad will then automatically expire on the date and time you have selected, my apologies if this was not clear to you. Lastly, I’m glad to see that you successfully used the £100-off code and were charged at the discounted rate. Best wishes, Beverley

when i first posted my job, someone called me to talk through the process. They said that they would call again to go through next steps before the job advert closed. The deadline was yesterday and no one has contacted me. I am sure I can navigate the system but given the candidates are anonymised a little guidance wouldn't go amiss.

The site is fine and generated a lot of interest in the post. However the majority of them were not appropriate, and 23 were looking for visa sponsorship.
