Dear Susie, Thank you taking the time to leave us feedback. It is very disappointing to hear that you did not manage to recruit through CharityJob on this occasion. I understand Mathew, your CharityJob Account Manager has been in touch to discuss what is currently a very challenging job market across all sectors and has also given advice on the potential factors relating to its performance and how to maximise it for future roles, which I understand was greatly appreciated and will be implemented moving forward. As all recruiter accounts are assigned an Account Manager and as we pride ourselves on collaborative working, we would always advise recruiters to contact us first before posting their ad so that we are able to offer the best advice on how to optimise its performance and are also able at that point to schedule follow up contact during its live cycle, especially when they are only live for 14 days instead of the usual 30. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Out of 28 applications, only 2 came through Charityjobs and they weren't not the best applications. Charityjobs was very expensive and gave no results

Dear Sonia, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. I understand Chris Sparkes, your Account Manager has now been in contact to explain the potential reasons for your ads under performance, one of which the location being in France which may have potentially hindered our reach of relevant candidates resulting in a lower-than-expected number of applications received. I believe Chris has explained the many alternative options/solutions we are able to offer to target such candidates and also advised on other ad enhancing tweaks, and you will be contacting Chris before reposting your ad with us to ensure you successfully recruit second time around. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Considering the blurb stating the advert would be sent out with a possible reach of 73,000 plus relevant candidates - for the money it is appalling and the premium service is anything but.

Dear Johnanne, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. I understand Nicola Boyd, your CharityJob Account Manager has made several unsuccessful attempts to contact you regarding your review, so has now followed up with you via email. It is very disappointing to hear that you did not manage to recruit through CharityJob especially as your vacancy received over 3,600 views, and multiple clicks on apply and several applications, so Nicola would really like to discuss this further with you in person. We would also like to ascertain where you saw the stat on our website you refer to regarding a reach of up to 73,000 plus relevant candidates as this information is incorrect, so again, an opportunity to discuss this with you would be very much appreciated. If you would like to contact Nicola directly, you can do so via telephone number 020 8939 8439. Every recruiter working with CharityJob is assigned their very own Account Manager, so should you choose to advertise with us again in the future, please do not hesitate to pick up the phone to Nicola so that you can work collaboratively to ensure the best ad performance for you. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

We only had three applicants compared to almost 100 in the same period on Indeed, and all of them lived very far away and were unsuitable and didn't even seem to have charity experience

Dear Miriam, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. It is very disappointing to hear that you did not receive the number of relevant candidates you were hoping for. I’m sure you will appreciate Indeed is a very generalist job board and so, if possible, it would be good if your Account Manager, Jules Keene could schedule a phone call with you to discuss the quality of these applications. I understand Jules has already reached out to you to advise you can extend the ad for free up until the 26th January as your ad was only live for just over 2 weeks compared to the normal 30 days and offered advice on how to best optimise the ad performance should you wish to do this, but I understand you have now successfully filled the position. Should you decide to advertise with CharityJob again, please reach out to Jules first before posting your ad to ensure the best possible advice is received. Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Dear Fouzia, I am very confused by the negative review you have left. You contacted us seeking a Quran teaching job and was advised CharityJob is a self-posting job board and does not act as a recruitment agency and is not involved in the recruitment process, so your job search would need to be self-driven. You were given clear instructions on how to search and apply to both paid and volunteering opportunities advertised on our website and on how to set up relevant job email alerts to ensure you were notified of new jobs posted which matched your alert criteria. If you would like further clarification on any of the above, please do not hesitate to get back in contact. Best wishes, Beverley Devine (Customer Service Manager)

Basically, I asked for the address of your company so I could send my CV. I was told that the company Charity Job was not a recruitment agency and was very disappointed at the service that was received. I am looking for a few hours a week as near today public transport as possible near to where I live. I can't do trains and stairs. It would also have to be an afternoon commitment. I would absolutely love to work in a safe environment which is one of my top priority. I would like some light shed on this. Looking forward to hearing from you. Have a productive and creative day. Many thanks Kind regards Monira Regragui Tel no. 07581 345 469

Hi Monira, I'm glad I got the opportunity to speak with you yesterday and clarify the difference between a job board such us ourselves and a recruitment agency. I'm also happy to have given you lots of advice on how to search for a volunteering opportunity within your local area and that you found my advice very helpful. The call to my colleague afterwards to pass on your thanks was greatly appreciated! The very best of luck with you job search! Best wishes, Beverley Devine Customer Service Manager

Hi Debuprasad, I don't quite understand the reason for your negative review. You first emailed us at 8.08am on Friday, 28th October and the message received simply read 'For Job', you received a reply at 8.26am that same day. You then emailed again at 9.27am and again today and were advised to refer to the reply you had received to your first message. In our reply you were advised that we are a job board and do not act as a recruitment agency and are not involved in the recruitment process, so your job search would need to be self-driven. You were given clear instructions on how to search for relevant vacancies listed on our job board, how to apply to them and how to set up relevant job alerts to eliminate any future need to search our website, hence why I am confused by your review. If you are looking for support to secure a job within the charity sector, I would advise you to contact a recruitment agency directly. I wish you every success. Best wishes, Beverley Devine (Customer Service Manager)

Hi Jo, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. I understand Matthew Sales, your Charity Account Manager has been in contact this morning to discuss the potential reasons for your ad’s poor performance and the current job market – job heavy and very candidate short. I also understand Matthew did advise that you can extend your ad for free and gave further advice on how to improve its performance should you wish to do this. We paid for the branded version rather than the basic, thinking it would mean our advert would be seen by more candidates. Received a call within days hinting at upgrading again to the enhanced version. For an organisation working with charities, Charity Job should understand that charities, particularly in the current climate, have very limited budgets. Received very few applicants. About a week after the call, asked for any hints and tips of how we could make our advert more attractive, and was told it was "too late" to do anyting. Really unhelpful and disappointing, even in the current recruitment market, felt they didn't care and was really disappointed.

Jenita, Candidates and recruiters will normally leave a review after using our services, but your review infers you have not done so yet and are a job seeker looking for employment, so I don’t understand the reason for the negative review you have left us.
