Dear R. Jenita, Candidates and recruiters will normally leave a review after using our services, but your review infers you have not done so yet and are a job seeker looking for employment, so I don’t understand the reason for the negative review you have left us. CharityJob is a self-posting job board for the charity sector, we do not act as a recruitment agency and are not involved in the recruitment process, so your job search will need to be self-driven. Best wishes, Beverley Devine (Customer Service Manager)

Dear Clair, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. It is very disappointing to hear that the very high number of clicks on apply didn't convert into the number of applications you were hoping for. I understand your Account Manager, Matthew Sales has recently been in contact to discuss this with you and has advised that as you qualify for our CJ Promise, a free-of-charge job credit has been preloaded to your account for future advertising. Should you choose to readvertise this vacancy again with us, please contact Matthew first to ensure you receive the best possible advice. Best wishes, Beverley Devine (Customer Service Manager)

Although advertising the vacancy was one of the most expensive advertising avenues, we didn't receive any applications for the post through this channel. We advertised on sites that were half the price of this and received numerous quality applications.

Dear Donna, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you did not manage to recruit through CharityJob. I understand your Account Manager, Judith Jones has been in contact to discuss the differences between advertising with generic job boards such as Indeed and a specialised job board such as CharityJob, and that she also advised on potential factors which may have had a detrimental effect on your ad’s performance. I am pleased to hear that you are considering advertising a further 2 vacancies with us and will be in contact with Judith first to seek advice on optimising their reach and performance. Best wishes, Beverley Devine(Customer Service Manager)

Dear Teresa, Thank you for taking the time to email us your feedback. I understand your Account Manager, Jules Keene has been in contact today to advise you on the potential reasons for your ad not receiving the number or quality of applications you had hoped for. As Jules advised, all job boards across all sectors are currently finding it challenging to recruit due to the current job market – job heavy and very candidate short. I believe Jules also discussed the visibility given to your vacancy due to the job package chosen and had reached out to discuss this when your ad was first posted with us. As all our recruiters are assigned a dedicated Account Manager at the time of account registration to ensure a collaborative working relationship, please don’t hesitate to contact Jules first should you wish to advertise with us again. Best wishes, Beverley Devine (Customer Service Manager)

My problem isn't with the site, but for a charity website, it was a lot of money to advertise and I didn't receive a lot of views for the job.

Hi Joyce. I understand my colleague Sam has been in touch today with your colleague Deborah to discuss the possible reasons for your ad not performing as well as you’d hoped. I also understand Sam advised Deborah that you are entitled to our CJ Promise so should you wish to readvertise it with us, you can do so free of charge. Sam has given Deborah suggestions on how to improve the ad performance next time around in a very job heavy, candidate short market currently across all sectors. Best wishes, Beverley Customer Service Manager

Our resources as a charity are very limited and we feel disappointed that we did not receive a single applicant through your website. We had a free ad running alongside on Indeed and received a number applicants this way.

However, it is disappointing to hear that you did not receive the quantity of applications you were hoping for, so I have asked your account manager, Chris Sparkes to contact you to discuss this. We have received very few CVs (less than 5) across all 3 jobs advertised on your site. These are paid ads, so very disappointed with the lack of applications using your job site.

Hi Rebecca, It is disappointing that despite your fundraising role receiving 960 views & 14 applications, some were unsuitable whilst the remainder didn't respond further. I know you've now spoken to your Account Manager about the ad performance & trust the advice he's given you regarding salary levels for this type of role was useful. I do hope you will trust us again to help with your recruitment in the future. Best wishes Martin (Sales Director)

Hi Gary, I know that our Account Manager has now spoken with you and advised on using an alternative job title for your role which is a more appropriate match with the salary. We've also issued you a credit under the CharityJob Promise, so that you can re advertise the role with us free of charge. Martin ( Sales Director)
