“My order was 5L of earthborn paint. The price was very competitive. Unfortunately the item went missing in delivery. When I notified Celtic Sustainables of the problem they dispatched a replacement immediately. Great service.”

“Bought several tins of Earthborn clay paint and eggshell. Great price, the cheapest I could find and quick delivery, but as other reviews have also said, every tin arrived really badly dented. Luckily the tins were intact so no messy paint everywhere but come on Celtic, either sort out your warehousing/delivery issues, or if you are selling the tins cheaply because they are dented then please be honest with us and tell us what we are buying! Great paint though - would recommend Earthborn for lime and conventional plaster.”

Hi Helen, Thank you so much for getting in touch. We are very sorry that your tins of paint arrived badly dented. I can assure you that the tins of paint left our shop without dents (as dented tins are always sold in our physical shop at a reduced price). We take this very seriously and I've escalated this case with our operations team manager who will work with the packing staff to investigate the cause. We will do our very best to prevent a similar error from happening again. We’d like to assure you that this is not the service Celtic Sustainables is committed to achieving, and we very much hope we get another chance to deliver paint tins the way it should be. “Well packaged and delivered, no smell from wool insulation (unlike B&Q). Still advise to wear a mask when installing as fibres can get up nose and irritate. Will buy again.”

“I ordered two wool duvets and they are fantastic! My son used to sweat a lot and this solved the problem, as the wool is famous for keeping bodies natural temperature without overheating. Very happy!”

“Good delivery and pre-delivery contact. produ• Thermafleece - Cosywool Sheeps Wool Insulation 370.750x 8500mm fits well into stud-frame of workshop purchased for, handles well. Safety mask required to prevent fibres irritating eyes from a physical fall out during fit and tear... but non irritative to touch. High natural odour from sheepswool...which I assume with boarding over will be depressed. My application will cover with hessian...so maybe not completely depress, but airing room will help! :) Job well accomplished! :)”

“I was very happy to find Celtic Sustainables shop, as they hhave a good range of eco friendly paints. Even better, they were considerably cheaper than the shop I'd used before! It was an easy order process & the paint arrived promptly. (Mind you, its still waiting for me to get round to doing the painting!!)”

“Excellent service, ordered the paint and it arrived the next afternoon. Have used one pot to paint the lime mortar in the window recess. It went on very well and dried very evenly. Considering it went straight on to the lime mortar, it only took 2 coats to give a good depth of colour. Most important thing for me was that it is fully breathable, an important consideration in our old house where modern paints flake off the walls. Thoroughly recommend this company and I will definitely use them again”
