“I have never had to organise a funeral before. My mum died suddenly and I was totally stunned. I knew she wanted to be cremated but I couldn't think properly. She was a nature loving lady and a very quiet personality. I saw this company as I was looking online the day after she died. I phoned not with much expectation and spoke to a wonderful man called David. He was so calm and helpful. My mum had to go through a post mortem and David explained everything to me. The price was very very reasonable and the way in which my mother was treated was outstanding. David phoned me to tell me the date and time of the cremation so I could play music and think of her. The ashes were delivered very quickly by a kind and thoughtful man who phoned to let me know he was on his way. My mum will have a tree planted by the national Trust as this company donate a tree for every cremation they do. It's a beautiful idea. As trees mean ever lasting life. This is the only company I've ever dealt with where they actually do what they say. I cannot thank David enough for helping me through a shocking time. I would recommend this company to everyone. It's really amazing. Thank you David, I don't know how I would have got through this dreadful time without you and your team.”

“Caring, committed and compassionate from start to finish. the team at COL are dedicated to making the most difficult times in life, that little bit easier to cope with. the additional final 'nod' to the dearly departed of having a tree planted in their memory is a beautiful little final touch to already outstanding service. “I would highly recommend using Celebration of Life I felt like they were my helping Angel at the end of a very stressful time for me , all the staff were kind and supportive and sympathetic nothing was too much trouble for them from the first moment I contacted them to the last conversation with them, I cant thank them enough JD”

“Excellent, stress free service. I first heard about direct cremations a few years ago and thought it was a fantastic idea. The thought of having to arrange, and attend, my husband's funeral, would have been awful. He also wanted a direct cremation as he hated wasting money! I looked up a few companies offering direct cremation and decided on Celebration of Life. They came to pick up Ken after an hour of phoning them even though it was close to midnight. The people who came to collect him were very respectful. I was kept informed every step of the way. I now have Ken's ashes ready to scatter where he wanted them. I'd recommend this service to anyone. My mum has just prepaid Celebration of Life for herself. I'll be having the same too.”

“I cannot thank Celebration of Life enough for the service provided following my dads recent death. From the first telephone conversation with David and then with his colleagues, those we spoke with were understanding, compassionate and helpful, carefully explaining the process and offering helpful advice too. We felt our dad was is safe and caring hands. Being told when the cremation was to take place gave us the opportunity to take some time to think and having a tree planted is a lovely touch which my dad would have liked. Communication was thoughtful and the same attention to detail and care was given when the ashes were returned. Celebration of Life enabled us to carry out our dads wishes and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you for making a sad time a little easier - Karen and Ashley Warnes”

“I have a lot of thanks to give COL. My mum was suddenly terminally ill and my dad was caring for her, and so it became my responsibility to get a lot of things in line. Mum wanted a non attended cremation, simple, sweet and for family to gather on the day of. As having never dealt with a death personally it was a lot of information to take in for a newbie on after-life matters. After doing some research I landed on celebration of life. My reasons being: Their website was simple and easy to understand. Their prices were the best. And their sense of love for the family and deceased drew me as well as their reviews settled my anxiety regarding a big decision. So the dreaded day arrived and I dialled the number that was clear on their website and the process began. In a moment of shock and sadness they made it clear and simple. Jenny on the phone patiently spoke through the proceedings with me and a few hours later the team turned up to take mum. My twin sister sat in as they moved her and she was beyond impressed with the love shown to mum as though she were still with us. They then sat with us and once again explained what the following steps would be to get things in order to arrange a cremation. Beyond thankful for the guidance. Being 28 I haven’t got the foggiest what to do after a death so their explanations were so helpful to us. We promptly got on with paper work and phone calls and Jenny called me every few days to keep me updated and see how me and my family were doing. My older sister lives abroad and had flown over to be with us for the gathering on mums cremation date. We had a dead line to work to and due to unforeseen delays from the doctors it meant our window for gathering on cremation day was closing. I made my concerns known to Jenny and she promised to do all she could and to our relief mum was cremated the day before my sister flew back out and we were able to fulfil mums wish. We chose not to have the ashes but that they be spread in the gardens. A few weeks later i received a letter and a certificate that a tree had been planted in honour of mum and also a card from the crematorium to say mums ashes had been spread and specifically where should we wish to visit in the future. The personal touch throughout this experience has been outstanding and meant an awful lot to me during a dark time for my family. I have and will continue to let others know about your lovely services and how you have helped us through this grievous situation. Thank you Jenny and team!”

“No one wants to go through losing someone they love. But when I lost my dad these where the best people. The help, and respect they give you. And also being able to get a tree planted, my dad would of loved that. They are amazing.”

“I was impressed with all aspects of the services provided to me and with the personal focus that I felt during my interactions with people. I found useful general information on the company's website before clarifying questions in telephone calls during which the advisers checked that I understood the topics we covered. The services provided were efficient, effective and supportive, reducing one major challenge for me in the weeks following my father's sudden death. I remain grateful for that support.”

“From the time dad & i phoned creations of life to arrange a policy, the staff were kind, conciderate & patient. When dad passed, creations of life provided comfort in mine & my families loss. The staff kept me informed on when they were going to collect my dad from hospital & when the cremation was to be held & at what time. This was done with great respect for my dad & for us his family. Staff also informed me when dads ashes including the small viles with dads ashes would be returned to me. On the day dads ashes came home the delivery was done with so much respect, dignity & kindness. The viles were in a beautiful velvet wallet & dads ashes were in a beautiful box with a woodland seen all around it. I even recieved a copy of the tree planted in dads honour through the woodland trust, which i will treasure forever. I cannot thank everyone at creations of life for their kindness, decorrum & compassion they showed me my family & especially my dad. I would & have sung their praises to quite a few people & will continue to do so. Thank you again for an amazing service.”

“A difficult and sad situation was made much easier each step of the way by the kindness and respect of the Celebration of Life people. Everything was explained in a gentle way which is very much appreciated at that difficult time. Even the man who bought our loved one home was very lovely, smartly dressed which made the handover feel dignified somehow.”

“My brother chose this for himself. I didn't know how this would work, but I have to say the service they provided was excellent. Once I had, had the first contact with them, they kept me up to date at all stages. They let me know when my brother was picked up and in their possession. When the cremation was going to take place and at what time. As a family we wanted his ashes returned, so they arranged a day and time suitable for us to receive them. Very good service provided and would recommend them.”

“At a time in my life when I lost my husband recently I used celebration of life to deal with the cremation. They handled everything with dignity and were so helpful and did everything they could to make everything go smoothly and kept me informed all the way along and even contacted me after everything was completed. A wonderful service and Dan who delivered my husbands ashes back to me was very professional and an asset to celebration of life. I have recommended celebration of life to all my friends and relatives if they choose to go down that road too”

“Throughout my dealings with them from beginning to end, C of L combined professionalism and efficiency with friendliness, courtesy, sympathy and support. At all times, night and day, they were available on the telephone for help, guidance and information. I dealt mainly with Shona Nodwell; she was absolutely first class. She assisted and supported me when I was experiencing a particularly difficult situation. The return of my wife's ashes was carried out just as promised and with care and courtesy. I have nothing but praise for Cof L; they are highly recommended.”
