“Cashmere and cotton provide a very good service. I purchased a scarf for my sister and it was greatly appreciated. However buying online takes away the tactile element in choosing an item. What looks good does not necessarily feel the way you hope it to. Having to return clothing is an anathema to me. Therefore I try to avoid internet clothes buying. Cotton and Cashmere provided a decent article or so my sister tells me. I only glanced at it briefly so as not to upset the packaging. I have only a slight idea of what I bought but the scarf was well received.”

“I loved the jumper although it is darker than shown in the photo. The scarf I have sent back as the colour was predominantly chinchilla and not much frosted grape so it didn’t appeal to me.”

“There is no doubt that Cashmere & Cotton is a good, safe company to buy from: they really do what they say they will do, and on time. I would be pleased to write a review of the items purchased from them, but they are still wrapped, as they are presents for my wife at Christmas; however, the weight feels good to me and the colours are very much as displayed on their web site.”

“Excellent experience, would have given 5 stars but no gift wrapping supplied. Despite this contacted company, who kindly supplied tissue/gift wrap immediately free of charge. Would recommend.”

“Lovely garments but why do manufacturers insist on sewing labels on items that have to be taken off to be worn (eg scarves)? Cutting them off is almost impossible without damaging the item.”

“This was my second purchase of a long sleeve kimono, they're lovely. I got two colours to choose from, because I wasn't sure about the rendition on the website. The quality and service from C&C is excellent but I would have thought for the high cost of these sweaters they might have arrived in a box, not a cheap plastic bag, which had a tear in it on arrival and doesn't have reseal tape. Also, return postage should be free for these expensive items. To return a sweater via Hermes, including insurance to the value of £200 it cost £15.”
