The course teacher was nice but he spoke very quietly and sometimes it was hard to hear him. There was quite a lot of content that was nursing centred but we are support workers so it didn’t really resonate with us. I did learn a lot as some of the techniques have changed since I last had training. Some of the content felt repetitive and I think the morning theory part went on too long.

Thank you for your review - we really appreciate it! Apologies if you felt as though the training was not relevant to you as a support worker, we are more than happy to put you through to our course advisors to get you booked on to a more fitting course if you feel as though you may have been placed on the wrong one. If there is anything we can do to assist you, please do not hesitate to let us know! :)

The course was adequate but no training notes are provided and after the course they refused to send the training content and ignored my further emails! Their enquiries email doesnt work so i had to email their Finance department! Hightly unprofessional.

Hi there, Thank you for your review, we do appreciate it. We provide activity workbooks for all of our courses that are used to make training notes throughout the session, if you have not received this please let me know and we will ensure that you get sent a copy straight away. We do not provide our training presentations free of charge, however do sell our Safeguarding Children and Adults presentation if these are of interest to you. I would be happy to put you through to a course advisor should you wish. I sincerely apologise that you feel as though your emails have been un-responded to - I can assure you that our enquiries@ inbox is fully operational. Our sales team are extremely busy and do have a slower response team than that of our less busy finance department. We aim to respond to all queries asap and we're very sorry that you feel as though you have been ignored. Thank you and Kind regards, The Caring for Care Team

Hi there - thank you for your review - may we ask what we could have done better to increase that to a 5 star rating? Alternatively, would you kindly increase your rating to match your kind words :) thank you!

Engaging tranier who was able to keep the attention of the group, the subject matter was not focussed enough on our area and tried to span safeguarding across services for children and adults which left too many areas which didnt apply.

Hi there - thank you for your review, our "Safeguarding for Managers" course covers both Adults and Children in the framework to ensure that a manager would be prepared for whatever situation may arise. We do offer more bespoke safeguarding courses however, than can be tailored to individual business needs at clients requests when booking the session - I would be happy to put you in touch with one of our course advisors to discuss this further if you would like :) With the above explanation, would you kindly consider increasing your review? Thank you!

Hi there - thank you for your review! We do offer practical sessions for this course, this option is at the client organiser's request. It appears your client organiser opted more so for the theory session - if you would like we can put you in touch with one of our course advisors to discuss this with you further :) With the above explanation, would you kindly consider increasing your review? Thank you!

I noticed the slides were cut and paste, plus the CQC standards were out of date. I didnt really learn much about care planning in general, as it was mainly child based not adults.

Although Kamal was very knowledgeable on the topics I found the training very dry and unengaging. Perhaps more activities in the break out rooms. The mix of trainers were all currently practicing trainers for the first course so we had more knowledge input around medication. The second course was a mix where we were focusing on teaching and learning. Possibly again more active learning

Hi Kudakwashe Manyani, Thank you for your review, would you mind revising it or changing your rating 5 stars to match the kind words that you have given us? :) Kind Regards Caring For Care

Very detailed and informative, but I wish there was more of a practical element to the training and showing us the equipment in respect to our role. It was a good refresher but if I hadn’t worked in care previously I’d be still a bit unsure of the equipment and not that confident to use it.

Hi Shannon - thank you for your review, we really appreciate it! We're really glad that you found the course very detailed and informative, but are sorry that we only received a three star rating. We offer different types of Moving and Handling courses - ranging in types of equipment and levels of award. The course picked by the client in this instance was Patient Moving and Handling Practical Level 2 for a group of 8 afternoon only session. We do apologise if you felt as though this did not apply to your professional circumstances, however this was what was chosen by the client. We would be happy to put you in touch with one of our course advisors should you wish to have more in-depth training on a smaller delegate level :) After the above explanation, would you mind revising your review? Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist, we would be happy to help! Thank you, The Caring for Care Team

Was very good training. However, with other training providers, a presentation is provided at the end.

Got left behind due to non availability of slides. I speak English as a second language and it's easier for me to listen and read

I felt like the afternoon session was rushed, finished the course in 5 hours with a 1 hour lunch break.

Whilst I found the course content interesting and helpful, I am unable to rate more than 3 stars as I did not have a good experience with the trainer Kev. I found some of his comments and examples, particularly those relating to people with children, to be offensive and targetting. Therefore, I would not attend a training course with this trainer from Caring for Care again.

the training was really good. however I purchased the starter kit and unfortunately I am unable to purchase disposable specula that fit the otoscope. also the kit had a metal noots - again unable to use this as i do not have an autoclave to clean it and have been advised that i should not be using this as disposable noots should be used unless the metal noots can be cleaned as per infection control and prevention guidelines.
