Although Kamal was very knowledgeable on the topics I found the training very dry and unengaging. Perhaps more activities in the break out rooms. The mix of trainers were all currently practicing trainers for the first course so we had more knowledge input around medication. The second course was a mix where we were focusing on teaching and learning. Possibly again more active learning

Hi Kudakwashe Manyani, Thank you for your review, would you mind revising it or changing your rating 5 stars to match the kind words that you have given us? :) Kind Regards Caring For Care

Very detailed and informative, but I wish there was more of a practical element to the training and showing us the equipment in respect to our role. It was a good refresher but if I hadn’t worked in care previously I’d be still a bit unsure of the equipment and not that confident to use it.

Hi Shannon - thank you for your review, we really appreciate it! We're really glad that you found the course very detailed and informative, but are sorry that we only received a three star rating. We offer different types of Moving and Handling courses - ranging in types of equipment and levels of award. The course picked by the client in this instance was Patient Moving and Handling Practical Level 2 for a group of 8 afternoon only session. We do apologise if you felt as though this did not apply to your professional circumstances, however this was what was chosen by the client. We would be happy to put you in touch with one of our course advisors should you wish to have more in-depth training on a smaller delegate level :) After the above explanation, would you mind revising your review? Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist, we would be happy to help! Thank you, The Caring for Care Team

Was very good training. However, with other training providers, a presentation is provided at the end.

Thank you for your review - we appreciate the feedback! We understand that other training providers may provide lower quality materials for free, however all of our expertly written and approved presentations are available for purchase. If you would like us to put you in touch with a course advisor, please do let us know! :) We hope that this has solved your issue and has allowed you to increase your rating to match the training experienced.

Got left behind due to non availability of slides. I speak English as a second language and it's easier for me to listen and read

I felt like the afternoon session was rushed, finished the course in 5 hours with a 1 hour lunch break.

Whilst I found the course content interesting and helpful, I am unable to rate more than 3 stars as I did not have a good experience with the trainer Kev. I found some of his comments and examples, particularly those relating to people with children, to be offensive and targetting. Therefore, I would not attend a training course with this trainer from Caring for Care again.

the training was really good. however I purchased the starter kit and unfortunately I am unable to purchase disposable specula that fit the otoscope. also the kit had a metal noots - again unable to use this as i do not have an autoclave to clean it and have been advised that i should not be using this as disposable noots should be used unless the metal noots can be cleaned as per infection control and prevention guidelines.

Did stuggle initially due to this course being on Zoom and not Teams. Found the trainer to be good although felt that feedback on presentations should have been at the end of the session, not afer each individual presentation. Didnt realise that if you needed any of the presentation packs to deliver this course it was chargeable, feel that this should have been explained on the course, as some did enquire about the packs, as I assumed they would be free of charge.

I didn't think this course gave enough content around how to deliver a training course - with being a 'train a trainer' course - i did expect more

Improvements in training techniques. No feedback forms are to be completed by the attendees. Missed to-do moving and handling using a sling as manual practice using attendees.

Training advisor was very quiet when teaching the course. None of the equipment was charged up so couldn’t be shown how to use correctly in practical.

Did not feel all the content was appropriate for what we needed, particularly around rectal medication which we do not use

The trainer was very informative but due to an issue with the servicing of the hoist did not demonstrate how to use it or how to attach the sling to the hoist or the person you needed to hoist. I understand he may not of wanted us to use the hoist on each other which is how we have learnt before but I’m sure we could of been shown how to attach sling and where to put sling on someone you needed to hoist.
