“I have attend few workshops with caring for care company. Most of the trainers are so boring. Not interactive at all. Only the one session with Cat Yates on catheter workshop. It was brilliant, interactive, two way participation. Cat Yates amazing. 🤩”

“Happy with the contents of the course, with QA during the course, practical sessions which gave you the opportunity to refresh yourself with equipment. All areas covered. An informative trainer -Sarah. Good venue, clean. Friendly and helpful staff.”

“Lovely course and all the team learnt well. Vic started without the slides even though I had said about not having AV equipment and he said he would bring some. I felt some of the theory was delivered very quickly and the team missed bits. I was taking notes throughout and the way he was jumping from topic to topic was not clear initially. But we did get all the info and the practical was great and brought it all together. Would be good to also have a practical element for choking, I have in other courses I have taken and given we are food service based it would be a helpful element.”

“I really enjoyed my training with Alison Connelly. She made everyone feel included and ensured all audience understood the information given. Alison is very patient and is a big believer in second chances and giving everyone opportunities to share their views and opinions. I am very happy overall!”

“We used Caring for Care to pride verification of death training and syringe driver training for registered nurses. The trainer was well informed and took the time to find out what we needed as a group and tailored the session to our local policies. Everyone in the group participated and were encouraged to do so. Very effective refresher training session.”

“Attended the Train the Trainor - Moving & Handling course recently. The tutor was extremely knowledgeable and ensured that all learners on the course understood all aspects. Kevin took the time to assist people on an individual basis if they had further questions. Kevin provided resorces to aid learning.”

“I recently completed the online course for becoming a Designated Safeguarding Lead, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. The course was incredibly informative, well-structured, and easy to follow. It provided a clear understanding of the responsibilities and key concepts involved in safeguarding, with practical examples and real-world scenarios that helped me apply the knowledge to my role. The content was up-to-date, and I appreciated how it covered everything from recognising signs of abuse to handling sensitive situations with confidence. The course also included useful resources, and Rachel was responsive and helpful whenever anyone had questions. I feel much more confident and prepared in my role as a Safeguarding Lead, and I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to enhance their understanding and effectiveness in safeguarding.”

“I really enjoyed my time during this course. The first thing I was looking out for was that the course would be worth it and it was most definitely worth my time, money and travel. The trainer ensured I left feeling confident about all I had been taught and I was. Things where broken down so I had a clear understanding, down to words/terms I had never heard of as I’m a complete beginner entering the field.”

“Booking was easy, and even changing the date was no problem. We managed to have training at home with our daughter's carers, which worked really well. The trainer was very knowledgeable and would be great for an institution or larger place with more then one service user, but we don't feel she quite realised the importance of being less impersonal with a one to one that has the understanding of a small child. She also seemed a little anti immigrant, and more than half of my carers picked up on this.”

Incorporating practical elements, such as case studies, role-playing scenarios, or interactive activities, would have greatly enhanced the learning experience and helped solidify the concepts.
