I don't feel this course met the description. It was not pitched at the school environment - the instructor saying he doesn't know much about schools. The information about specific conditions was out of date and inacurate- reference to asperges and PDA. The handling techniques were not appropriate for young children or children with SEN. There was no advice regarding de-escalation, simply how to phsically manage aggresive and violent behaviour. Over all not what was described and a waste of my time in a school setting. Nothing delivered within this course was relevant or useful. It finished significantly earlier than was scheduled with several lengthy breaks.

Hi there, thank you for your review. I sincerely apologise that you have had a bad experience with our company - and I can assure you that it would have never been our intention to provide you with a poor service. I can confirm that I have just spoken with the primary school's head teacher, Jason, and we will try our best to resolve this matter to your satisfaction. Once more I truly apologise for the frustration caused and dissatisfaction experienced.

I undertook an 8 hour mandatory training course with this agency. 8 hours of sitting through mostly totally irrelevant PowerPoint presentations with an instructor who is obviously used to a particular lesson plan and stuck to it regardless The only part of this course that was in any way relevant to my job was during the last hour and a half which concerned the particular PEG system we will be using. A very long day.

I found the trainer quite insulting and intimidating.

Attended refresher moving and handling training-poor training delivery, trainer did not appear to be following any lesson plan, and consequently did not deliver on objectives. Was told to just have "play" with equipment and let the trainer know if we needed any help At one point we were showing the trainer how to apply M&H skills All that aside the trainer was very pleasant and friendly

The course was cancelled an hour before it was due to start by EMAIL. Our employee was already en-route therefore costing us mileage, and travel time for that employee. We have since received a certificate to say that the employee had completed the course!! And an online survey regarding our experience on the course. We have had an email to re-book the course.

Please may I ask who your trainer was for the course? So that we can look into this further. If you need to make a formal complaint, please get in touch with the office—the Caring for Care Team.
